News - Yemen: Yemen's Shura Council considered the continued brutal American aggression on residential neighborhoods and civilian sites in the capital, Sana'a, and other provinces as a moral and military failure and bankruptcy.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Council affirmed that after failing to dissuade Yemen from its religious and humanitarian stance, American aggression resorted to committing heinous crimes by deliberately targeting residential areas and civilian facilities, in blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.

The Shura Council reiterated the steadfastness of Yemen’s official and popular position in supporting the Palestinian cause until the Israeli aggression and its unjust siege on Gaza come to an end.

It stressed that the current stage requires everyone to shoulder their responsibilities in confronting the American enemy and its conspiratorial schemes targeting Yemen — its land and people.

The Council called for intensifying the economic boycott in an active and impactful manner and rallying around the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in this regard.

It noted that the Yemeni people's massive turnout in recent marches sent a clear message to the entire world that Yemen, the land of Arabism and pride, will neither retreat nor submit to the forces of arrogance, oppression, and Zionist-American tyranny. It praised the determination of the free people who took to the streets last Friday under the slogan: "Steadfast with Gaza, Despite American Crimes."

The United States has intensified its aerial assaults on Yemen, frequently striking civilian areas and residential neighborhoods. These repeated attacks have resulted in hundreds of casualties, with Washington justifying its actions as efforts to deter Yemeni operations against Israeli-linked vessels. 

However, Yemeni forces have firmly reiterated their commitment to ongoing military operations in the Red Sea and beyond until the Israeli war on Gaza is brought to an end.

In response to the genocide in Gaza and foreign intervention, Yemen has imposed a strategic blockade on critical maritime routes, aiming to disrupt arms shipments and apply international pressure to address the escalating humanitarian crisis.
