The center warned that the GBU-39 JDAM is one of the most dangerous banned weapons globally, posing severe threats to civilians and civilian infrastructure.
The explosion of this bomb generates temperatures reaching 3,500°C, leading to the spread of cancer, birth defects, fatal pregnancies, and extensive environmental destruction. It contaminates soil, air, and groundwater, wiping out natural life in affected areas, the center confirmed.

US airstrikes targeted a migrant shelter in Sa'adah housing 115 African migrants. The attack resulted in at least 60 deaths and over 65 injuries, with many of the wounded in critical condition.
The destruction of the shelter severely hampered rescue operations, as teams faced difficulties due to the extent of the damage.
This attack is part of a broader pattern of US airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in Yemen, fueling widespread condemnation from local and international human rights organizations. Calls for accountability and an end to the aggression continue to grow.
