In a statement, the UK Ministry of Defense confirmed that British forces took part in what it called a "joint military operation" in Yemen on Tuesday—referring to the airstrikes that targeted Sana'a, Sa’adah, Al-Jawf, and other areas from Tuesday evening through Wednesday.
The British Defense Ministry boasted about the use of psychological terror tactics, stating that “the airstrikes were carried out after nightfall,” openly admitting the late-night timing was intended to heighten fear among civilians, particularly children, women, and the elderly—a tactic long associated with Zionist military strategies meant to break the will of targeted populations.
The statement also confirmed that Typhoon FGR4 jets bombed several buildings south of Sana'a using Paveway IV bombs—an indication that no valid military targets were present, reflecting worsening intelligence failures and military desperation that increasingly turns to civilian sites.
The ministry added that Typhoon jets carried out the mission with support from Voyager aerial refueling aircraft.
Britain’s renewed involvement—after initial hesitation during the Trump-era escalation—aligns with what the leader of the revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi had warned: that Washington is seeking to drag other powers into its failing campaign.
This British involvement underscores the US’s inability to achieve its goals alone and its need for allies to share the burden. However, this participation will only result in the UK being added to Yemen’s list of banned nations in regional waters—targets for missiles and drones supporting Palestine and pressuring the Zionist entity. The US has already been blacklisted in Yemeni waters following its escalation in service of Israel’s war.
On Tuesday, Sana’a’s capital districts and surrounding areas in Sana’a Governorate were subjected to joint US-British airstrikes, along with similar attacks on Sa’adah and Al-Jawf. Initial reports confirmed damage to civilian homes and property.
