News - Middle East: Zionist media reported Wednesday that the Israeli entity has requested international assistance to contain massive fires raging across the hills of occupied Al-Quds.

Fires have broken out in five main locations, with over 100 firefighting teams and 13 aircraft attempting to control the blaze. Channel 13 noted that hundreds of settlers were seen fleeing on foot along Route 1 as flames reached the highway, destroying several vehicles.

The general fire commissioner declared a state of emergency and raised alert levels to the maximum, calling in teams from all regions due to the continued spread of fires.

According to Hebrew sources, four European countries — Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, and Italy — have agreed to assist in firefighting efforts.

The city of Ashkelon postponed events until tomorrow, while Ashdod and Beersheba are currently assessing the situation.

The so-called Magen David Adom confirmed 12 settlers were injured due to smoke inhalation. The fires, fueled by a severe heatwave and strong winds, have spread rapidly across large agricultural areas in Al-Quds.
