Israeli Enemy Declares State of Emergency, Admits Inability to Extinguish Massive Fires in Occupied Al-Quds

News - Middle East: The Israeli enemy entity announced on Wednesday its inability to control massive fires in occupied Al-Quds, despite the deployment of 120 firefighting teams, including 11 planes and 3 helicopters.

The enemy’s Broadcasting Authority stated that “orders were issued to evacuate the settlements of Mevo Horon and Mishmar Ayalon due to fears of the fires spreading,” adding that “the entity has requested firefighting aircraft from Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, and Italy.”

The authority also noted that “the fires are approaching armored tanks belonging to the occupation army,” pointing out that 12 people have suffered from smoke inhalation and that the Zionist emergency services have raised their alert level.

Meanwhile, the Israeli enemy’s fire department reported a massive fire breaking out in the Latrun area and several mountains west of the occupied city of Al-Quds.

The department said that “dozens of firefighting crews, along with a number of aircraft, are participating in efforts to extinguish the fire to prevent it from spreading to nearby towns and settlements.”

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that “the Israeli fire service has raised the alert level to the highest degree due to the ongoing fires.”

The paper added that “firefighting and rescue teams worked to evacuate drivers from the road connecting the coast to Al-Quds, as flames and smoke spread from nearby forests, while others were forced to abandon their cars and flee on foot to escape the fires.”

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the enemy’s fire and rescue authorities closed access to the highway on Wednesday due to a wildfire, just one week after a massive forest fire devastated large areas, prompting evacuations and road closures.

The newspaper stated that “as a result of the incident, authorities ordered the evacuation of residents from several communities, while firefighting teams are working to prevent the fires from reaching homes, in addition to the suspension of train services to Al-Quds and its surrounding areas.”

It also clarified that “there were at least six additional active fire zones spread along the hills leading to the capital.”

Moreover, the municipalities of Ashkelon, Lod, Beersheba, Mevaseret Zion, and the settlement of Ariel canceled ceremonies marking what is called ‘Independence Day’.

Earlier Zionist media reported today that the Israeli entity has requested international assistance to contain massive fires raging across the hills of occupied Al-Quds.

Fires have broken out in five main locations, with over 100 firefighting teams and 13 aircraft attempting to control the blaze.

The fires, fueled by a severe heatwave and strong winds, have spread rapidly across large agricultural areas in Al-Quds.
