News - Yemen: Academic writer and researcher Dr. Abdulmalik Issa stated that the British intervention in Yemen, occurring amid the ongoing American aggression and the failure of its plans, is not a passing event, but rather a "tactical move" driven by two key factors.

In his analysis aired on Al-Masirah TV, Dr. Issa explained that “the first factor is ‘Zionist strategic panic.’ After the strikes carried out by the Yemeni army and the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist entity, that entity is now gripped by strategic panic and an inability to respond. Since it cannot attack or reach Yemen, it has turned to Britain for support.”

The second factor, which Dr. Issa described as crucial, concerns the failure of the US aggression against Yemen.

He said, “The Americans entered the war against Yemen with extreme arrogance, claiming they would crush the Yemenis,” recalling former President Donald Trump’s statements. However, this intervention has led to “a terrifying strategic failure” for the United States, turning the war into “a strategic trap” for Washington.

He added that “American aircraft carriers like the USS Truman and USS Vinson are no longer effective against Yemeni defenses, which pushed the US to seek help from ‘the ultimate criminal’—Britain, which played a central role in the creation of the Zionist entity.”

Dr. Issa concluded that “the British intervention is an attempt to salvage the situation after the clear failure of the American aggression to achieve its goals, and amid the Zionist entity’s incapacity to confront Yemeni and Palestinian strikes.”

The UK Ministry of Defense announced Tuesday that British forces had taken part in what it called a "joint military operation" in Yemen, referring to the airstrikes that targeted Sana'a, Sa'adah, Al-Jawf, and other areas.

According to the statement, British Typhoon FGR4 jets bombed several buildings in southern Sana'a using Paveway IV bombs. The Typhoons were supported by Voyager refueling aircraft.
