News- Middle East: The Political Bureau of Ansarullah strongly condemned the escalating and dangerous acts of aggression by the Zionist entity, manifested in its repeated airstrikes on Syrian territory.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the bureau affirmed that “the Zionist entity’s violation of Syria’s sovereignty and its destruction of the country's military capabilities and infrastructure is inseparable from US policy, and falls within the framework of Washington’s unconditional support and backing for the Israeli regime.”

The statement added that “the United States has given Israel free rein to impose its own agenda in the region under the guise of fighting terrorism and through the use of excessive force—blatantly defying international laws and norms.”

It further pointed out that these gross violations of international law come as “the Zionist entity continues its genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, amid deafening silence from the international community and evident complicity from official Arab regimes—emboldening Israel to escalate its crimes.”

The bureau warned against the dangers of tolerating what it described as “a doctrine of unchecked aggression” that the Israeli enemy seeks to entrench across the region—threatening the sovereignty, security, and stability of nations.

Ansarullah’s Political Bureau called on all free and honorable people around the world to “intensify effective and forceful efforts to confront the US-Israeli agenda aimed at dominating the region and plundering its resources,” urging global voices to “resist and expose Israeli crimes and violations in Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon.”

The statement concluded by stressing “the need to unify efforts in confronting these repeated aggressions, which pose a serious threat to both regional and international peace and security.”

Since HTS-led militants ousted the government of Bashar al-Assad in December, Israel has ramped up its airstrikes across Syria. 

It has also moved forces deeper into a buffer zone on the edge of the occupied Golan Heights in violation of a 1947 disengagement agreement with Syria.

Katz, the Israeli minister, said last week that Israel was planning to keep its occupying forces in southern Lebanon and Syria “indefinitely.”
