In an interview with Al-Masirah TV, Isa explained that the American failure in its aggression against the Yemeni people—now ongoing for over a year and a half—has caused significant confusion within the US administration and decision-making centers, culminating in the recent dismissal of the National Security Advisor and his deputy.
He pointed out that this dismissal reflects a genuine inability to manage what the Americans label a "limited conflict" with Yemen, questioning how the US would handle a conflict with a major power like Iran or China.
Isa emphasized that one of the responsibilities of the National Security Advisor is to oversee political, military, and security matters, including issuing orders for strikes—whether on Yemen or elsewhere.
He added that the confusion and failure within the US administration have been reflected in American media, which has begun discussing the serious consequences of the aggression against Yemen.
Isa warned of the dangerous repercussions of these developments, highlighting that the US has lost its aura and two of its most iconic strengths: the Navy and Marine Corps, particularly the aircraft carriers historically deployed to intimidate nations. "Today, those carriers have suffered catastrophic failure in Yemen," he said.
He stressed that the US claim of extending the deployment of the aircraft carrier Truman for another week is merely for domestic and global public relations—to create the illusion that US forces remain capable and strong, while the reality says otherwise.
The Defeat of the "Shock and Awe" Strategy
In this regard, Isa noted that Britain's military intervention in Yemen has exposed the falsehoods of the US narrative, citing remarks by the British Defense Minister, who admitted that American forces were facing near-daily attacks from Yemeni forces, prompting the UK to intervene to rescue them.
Isa attributed America's failure to the Yemeni Armed Forces’ strategy of sustained, escalating pressure—contrasting it with the American reliance on "shock and awe."
He confirmed that Yemen’s strategy has forced the US to back down from the high rhetoric it used at the onset of its renewed aggression on Yemen, when it vowed "hell" and the elimination of threats from Yemen and promised to break the blockade on Israeli ports.
After nearly 50 days of aggression, the US backed off from its threats, to the point of pleading with Sana’a: “Stop your operations and we will stop the aggression.” Isa asserted that Yemen’s escalating strategy will eventually force the US to halt the war on Gaza.
Regarding Yemen’s operations against the Israeli enemy, Isa said Yemen is applying increasing pressure, reaching as far as Haifa in northern occupied Palestine. He noted the US failure to protect the Israeli entity, which prompted British intervention under pressure from the Zionist lobby.
