News- Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of a series of strategic military operations targeting Israeli positions, as well as a major strike on the US aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and several accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea.

According to the official statement, the Air Force carried out two distinct operations against Israeli targets. The first targeted Ramon Airport, located in the Umm al-Rashrash area (Eilat), using two drones. The second involved a "Yafa"-type drone and struck a vital Israeli site in the occupied Jaffa area.

In what was described as a strategic and high-impact operation, the Yemeni Armed Forces also confirmed an attack on the US aircraft carrier Truman and its support vessels using a ballistic missile and multiple drones. The statement noted the operation caused confusion and panic among enemy forces, leading to the downing of an American F-18 fighter jet and forcing the carrier to retreat to the far northern part of the Red Sea.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reported that the operation thwarted an aerial attack the US had been preparing to launch against Yemen, taking place prior to the American announcement of a ceasefire.

In a stern warning, the Yemeni military affirmed that any resumption of US aggression would be met with “severe and painful strikes.” The statement emphasized that the Yemeni people stand firm in their moral, religious, and humanitarian commitment to the Palestinian cause and the wider Arab and Islamic Ummah.

The Armed Forces reassured the Yemeni public of their military readiness and capability—by the grace of Allah—to respond decisively to Israeli and allied aggression. They reaffirmed the continuation of the maritime blockade on Israeli shipping in the Red and Arabian Seas, along with the air blockade on Lod Airport (Ben Gurion), declaring that operations will persist until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.

The statement concluded with a firm vow, "We remain faithful to our pledge and continue on the path of resistance. Blood for blood—with Gaza and Palestine until victory, Allah willing."

Earlier, American sources revealed to CNN the loss of a second F-18 fighter jet belonging to the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman over the Red Sea, while the Pentagon confirmed it is monitoring the situation following an earlier announcement about the loss of another jet.
