News- Yemen: Mohammed Abdulsalam, spokesperson for Ansarullah and head of the National Delegation, welcomed the recent ceasefire announcement between Pakistan and India, commending the efforts behind it—particularly those led by Arab and Islamic nations.

In a post on X, Abdulsalam emphasized the ceasefire’s importance for regional and global stability. He called for similarly strong diplomatic efforts to be directed toward Gaza, urging increased pressure on the Israeli entity to end its “genocidal crimes and systematic starvation” against the Palestinian people in both Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

The ceasefire comes after rising tensions between Pakistan and India following a terrorist attack in Indian-administered Kashmir last month.

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, announced the agreement on Saturday after several days of military strikes and retaliatory actions triggered by the April 22 attack, which killed 26 tourists.

“Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region without compromising its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Dar stated.
