News - Middle East: Lebanese political analyst and director of the Sonar Media Center, Hussein Mortada, stated that the escalating operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces send multiple political, military, and economic messages to the Zionist enemy.

He added: "While Yemen imposes a suffocating air and naval blockade on the Zionist entity, there remains a blockade on conscience in many—if not all—Arab regimes. While they danced and offered precious gifts to the criminal Trump, the Zionists responded with massacres against the people of Gaza, continuing their aggression and crimes."

Mortada pointed out that despite the brutal siege imposed by some Arab and Gulf states on Yemen, the Yemeni people have managed to establish a new equation with the Zionist enemy—one no other nation has dared to enact. This includes first restricting Zionist navigation in the Red Sea, then imposing an air blockade on Lod Airport, and now extending to the Mediterranean with the ban on Haifa port.

He stressed that Yemen’s decision carries major implications, given Haifa’s strategic importance as Israel’s primary maritime lifeline. He noted that Turkish ships continue to dock at Haifa, supplying the entity with food and goods, while Gaza remains under siege—with no Arab or non-Arab nation daring to send even a loaf of bread to its starving people.

Mortada affirmed that the equations set by Yemen and its Armed Forces will dictate the next phase, especially as Yemen has asserted itself as a regional power capable of controlling key supply routes—not just for the occupation, but for the entire region and world. He added:

"Yemen has become a regional force with real weight, and no one can ignore it anymore. The Americans, Zionists, and Yemen’s neighbors know full well the danger of the Haifa blockade, and this is just the beginning."

He noted that the world is witnessing a growing axis of strength led by Yemen, which has contributed to Palestine’s legendary resilience. The Yemeni military’s operations have exposed the fragility of the Zionist entity, proving its inability to counter Yemeni missiles and drones—despite possessing the world’s most advanced air defense systems.

He lamented that Arab military power is used against Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Libya, while Yemen’s people and army are the ones upholding true honor, courage, and defiance.

Mortada concluded: "The Gulf states could stop the aggression on Gaza and impose their will, even leveraging their ties with the US But shamefully, they’ve abandoned the Palestinian people to face this alone."
