News - Yemen: Media activist Mohammed Mansour reported that Yemen possesses deep expertise and a solid field capability in confronting the ongoing aggression since March 2015.

He emphasized that "the battle is no longer merely a reaction but has transformed into an open strategic confrontation with the American-Zionist project and its tools in the region, foremost among them Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar."

In an exclusive interview with Almasirah channel, Mansour clarified that the speeches of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi were revealing and explicit in affirming that the steadfast stance against the aggression is non-negotiable and irreversible. He described these positions as "national, religious, and moral constants rooted in the firm convictions of the Yemeni people."

In his analysis of the regional scene, Mansour stressed that Saudi Arabia is handling the crisis as if it has achieved an illusory victory, without realizing the magnitude of the shift in the balance of power. He stated, "If Riyadh does not properly heed the lessons of the past years, it is returning itself to the square of political and military failure."

He noted that it is evident Washington and Riyadh, after their military failure in Yemen, are now seeking to mobilize internal tools to pressure Sanaa, but their bet is doomed to fail because "public awareness today is higher than ever." He explained that the ongoing political escalation between Riyadh and Cairo, particularly regarding the Red Sea and the Arab League files, reveals the extent of Saudi confusion.  

"Cairo has begun to realize that Riyadh’s projects do not serve Egyptian national security, and there is clear rejection of turning the Red Sea into an arena for military bases that undermine Egyptian sovereignty."  

Mansour criticized Saudi interference in Yemeni affairs and their relentless attempts to reignite internal conflict through local proxies, affirming that "the Yemeni leadership will not allow the re-emergence of mercenaries or internal chaos, and the threshold of confrontation will remain high against those who fund the Zionist project in the region."  

He emphasized that the Yemeni people today reject a return to subjugation and are fully aware that any American decision against Yemen cannot be implemented without a Saudi green light. Therefore, the confrontation with Riyadh is a confrontation with the broader aggressive project.  

He concluded that Yemen, despite the blockade, has proven its presence in the battle of awareness and dignity, noting that "Yemen is part of the Axis of Resistance—from Gaza to the southern suburbs [of Beirut] to Tehran—and we will not allow our country to become an arena for settling American-Zionist scores."

Amid ongoing US-backed aggression and blockade, Yemen has maintained a dual strategy of military resistance and diplomatic engagement. Since the war on Gaza began in October 2023, the Sana’a-based government has intensified efforts to highlight Yemen’s sovereignty, defend its people’s rights, and support the Palestinian cause on regional and international platforms.
