News - Yemen: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi held the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, along with its agents and mercenaries, fully responsible for the worsening conditions in Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces.

He affirmed that the Saudi-Emirati occupation of these regions will eventually be forced to withdraw, bearing the shame, disgrace, and humiliation of their actions.

Al-Rahwi praised the growing activities and popular movements opposing the occupiers, their mercenaries, and their policies of starvation and currency manipulation, which have led to the alarming collapse of the currency and negatively impacted all aspects of daily life for citizens in the southern provinces.

He highlighted the direct and indirect consequences of the sharp rise in the exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal and the unprecedented currency collapse in the occupied areas, stressing how this has worsened living conditions and fueled public anger.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the government would not hesitate to take all possible measures to alleviate the severe suffering of citizens in all occupied regions.

The current economic deterioration in Yemen’s southern and eastern provinces is part of a prolonged crisis that has afflicted these areas for years. This ongoing disaster is widely attributed to the entrenched corruption of coalition-backed mercenaries and their aggressive economic policies, which have deepened the population’s suffering. 

These policies include the looting of national resources, deliberate currency manipulation, and the exploitation of the humanitarian crisis for personal financial gain, with illicit profits funneled into foreign bank accounts. The resulting hardships have triggered numerous popular protests across the occupied governorates, often met with brutal repression by the mercenary authorities.
