News - Yemen: Palestinian resistance movements strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Hodeidah, reaffirming their solidarity with Yemen’s leadership, army, and people.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement declaring that "the large-scale Zionist aggression on Yemen—which targeted civilian infrastructure, power stations, and the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and As-Salif—is a new treacherous crime added to the occupation’s bloody record."

It added, “This aggression comes as dear Yemen and its Armed Forces are achieving successive victories, breaking the enemy's aura, penetrating its strategic depth, and establishing a clear deterrence equation that reflects the free will of a people that does not retreat.”

The statement stressed that “the occupation continues to pursue failed policies that have proven useless in the past and will yield no gains now—only increase Yemen’s resolve to continue its support for Gaza.”

The Front renewed its solidarity with “beloved Yemen and its brave people, who are facing aggression with patience, strength, and resilience. We are in a unified battle against the joint Zionist-American project in the region.”

Meanwhile, Fatah – Intifada faction emphasized that “the Zionist entity is the real threat to the peoples of our Ummah.”

In its condemnation, Fatah – Intifada praised “the heroic actions and steadfastness of the brotherly Yemeni people in the face of Zionist aggression and arrogance.”

The Israeli aggression on Yemen marks a dangerous escalation in the broader regional conflict ignited by the Zionist war on Gaza. On Sunday night, Israeli warplanes launched at least 20 airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in Hodeidah, targeting key facilities including the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and As-Salif, as well as a power station. The strikes followed open threats by the Israeli military to attack Yemeni ports over alleged military activities.

This comes amid intensified operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces, who earlier the same day launched a hypersonic ballistic missile—Palestine-2—at Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport in occupied Jaffa. The strike halted air traffic and forced thousands into shelters, signaling Yemen’s continued commitment to supporting Gaza and deterring Zionist aggression.

Since the war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, Yemen has positioned itself as a key member of the regional resistance axis, conducting long-range strikes on Israeli-occupied territories and enforcing a strategic blockade in the Red Sea.
