Ansarullah Official: Zionist Aggression Won’t Break Yemen’s Support for Gaza or Regional Stability

News - Yemen: Mohammed Al-Farrah, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah, affirmed that the Zionist aggression against Yemen will not deter the country from its principled position, no matter how much the enemy tries to harm civilians.

In a statement to Almasirah Net, Al-Farrah said, “The (Israeli) aggression on Yemen is a criminal act carried out with American and Western approval and support, and with the complicity of international organizations.”

He added that "the Zionist aggression on Yemen falls within the broader context of its hostile war on the nations of our Ummah,” explaining that the enemy is attempting to impose a new equation of total domination over the region and alter its identity.

He emphasized that “this aggression is a desperate attempt to force the Yemeni people to abandon their humanitarian and faith-driven position in support of the oppressed people of Gaza, who are enduring siege, starvation, and a genocidal war waged by the Israeli enemy.”

Al-Farrah pointed out that “the targeting of ports, power stations, and civilian infrastructure is a deliberate effort to harm civilians and inflict suffering on the Yemeni people. It is a methodical destruction of non-military facilities.”

He stressed, “We remain firmly committed to our position in support of Gaza, regardless of the challenges or consequences,” adding, “We will spare no effort or means that can harm the Zionists and pressure them to stop their genocidal crimes in Gaza.”

He renewed his call to “the sons of the Islamic Ummah to take practical and effective positions to safeguard the sovereignty of their violated nations and to foil this unjust equation.”

Al-Farrah concluded by warning “the international community that the actions of the (Israeli) enemy destabilize regional security, and that turning a blind eye only reinforces a culture of impunity and encourages the continuation of rogue policies that violate the norms of international relations.”

The Israeli aggression on Yemen marks a dangerous escalation in the broader regional conflict ignited by the Zionist war on Gaza. On Sunday night, Israeli warplanes launched at least 20 airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in Hodeidah, targeting key facilities including the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and As-Salif, as well as a power station. The strikes followed open threats by the Israeli military to attack Yemeni ports over alleged military activities.

This comes amid intensified operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces, who earlier the same day launched a hypersonic ballistic missile—Palestine-2—at Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport in occupied Jaffa. The strike halted air traffic and forced thousands into shelters, signaling Yemen’s continued commitment to supporting Gaza and deterring Zionist aggression.

Since the war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, Yemen has positioned itself as a key member of the regional resistance axis, conducting long-range strikes on Israeli-occupied territories and enforcing a strategic blockade in the Red Sea.
