News – Yemen: The Presidium of the Yemeni Parliament has praised the high-level military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea and deep within the Zionist entity.

In a session held on Wednesday and chaired by Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, the Presidium reaffirmed Yemen’s right to defend itself, uphold its national causes, and respond to Zionist criminal attacks. It also reiterated Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, vowing to continue its efforts by all available means until the aggression and siege on both the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples are lifted.

The Parliament strongly condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression targeting Yemen’s civilian infrastructure—most recently the attacks on the ports of Hodeidah and the Ras Katheeb power station—describing the assault as a flagrant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, a breach of international humanitarian law, and a systematic attack on the country's infrastructure and resources.

It stressed that the continued Israeli aggression on Yemeni ports and infrastructure is a desperate attempt to pressure Yemen into abandoning its support for the Palestinian people.

The Parliament also expressed surprise at the international community’s silence and the failure of Arab and Islamic countries to respond to the Israeli enemy’s crimes in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories. It called on the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, affiliated bodies, world nations, and all people of conscience to take urgent action to stop the war, lift the siege on Gaza, and fulfill their humanitarian and moral responsibilities toward the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The Presidium emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts and strengthening cooperation among Yemen’s constitutional authorities to fulfill their shared responsibilities and reinforce national unity in confronting the Zionist aggression and its broader schemes against Yemen and the Arab and Islamic world.

Since the Zionist aggression on Gaza began, Yemen has escalated its naval operations in three stages—starting with a Red Sea ban on Israeli shipping, then targeting enemy-affiliated vessels, and expanding to the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean.

The sinking of the Magic Seas vessel marked a key escalation after repeated violations by its parent company entering Israeli-occupied ports despite Yemeni warnings. Yemeni Naval Forces issued multiple radio warnings to the ship, which refused to comply.

The attack involved unmanned boats setting the ship on fire, followed by a special forces raid that ended with the vessel’s destruction and sinking. This operation, documented in video and audio, sent a strong message to companies violating Yemen’s maritime blockade, demonstrating Yemen’s growing naval capabilities and commitment to pressuring Israel through maritime control.
