News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday the targeting of Lod Airport in occupied Yafa in response to the Zionist enemy’s genocidal crimes and deliberate starvation against our brothers and sisters in Gaza, as well as the repeated desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist settlers.

In an official statement, the Armed Forces confirmed that the Rocketry Force carried out a precision military operation against Lod Airport in occupied Yafa using a "Palestine-2" hypersonic ballistic missile. The operation successfully achieved its objectives, forcing millions of Zionist occupiers to flee to shelters and paralyzing airport operations.

The statement emphasized that the Yemeni people, with their glorious history, unwavering faith, and steadfast principles, remain resolute in their support for Palestine. They fear no threats, however repeated, and will not be deterred by any consequences, no matter how severe. With divine assistance, they will overcome all challenges.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to continuing military operations until the aggression against Gaza ceases and the blockade is fully lifted.

Yemen's military support for Gaza has become one of the defining elements of the regional confrontation with the Israeli enemy, particularly following years of sustained conflict and siege. 

By enforcing a naval blockade on Israeli-linked vessels and developing advanced missile and drone technologies, Yemen has not only bolstered its military capabilities but also shifted the balance of power in the Red Sea and beyond. 

Israel launched the war on Gaza after Hamas led a surprise operation against the regime on October 7, 2023, in response to intensified Israeli violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The devastating Israeli war has resulted in the deaths of nearly 61,000 Palestinians so far, the majority of whom are women and children.
