News - Middle East:  The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the death of five Palestinians as a result of starvation and malnutrition imposed by the Zionist enemy on the Strip.

Hospitals in Gaza recorded 5 five new deaths in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, including two children.

The Health Ministry indicated that the total number of victims of starvation and malnutrition has risen to 217 martyrs, including 100 children.

The World Health Organization warned of the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, confirming that deaths caused by hunger and malnutrition are alarmingly increasing amid the ongoing Israeli siege and the difficulty in delivering humanitarian aid.

The organization revealed that about 12,000 children under five years old were diagnosed with severe malnutrition during July alone, making them vulnerable to death or long-term health damage.

The United Nations confirmed that the Gaza Strip needs hundreds of aid trucks daily to end the famine caused by the siege and the genocide war carried out by Israel for 23 months.

Despite the Zionist enemy allowing dozens of humanitarian trucks to enter Gaza daily in recent weeks following sharp international criticism after blocking aid since March 2, it facilitated the theft of these supplies and provided protection for it.
