News - Middle East: The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 11 people have died in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition caused by the suffocating Israeli enemy siege, border closures, and the blocking of food and medical supplies.

The ministry confirmed that the total number of deaths from starvation and malnutrition has reached 251, including 108 children, highlighting the scale of the crimes committed by the occupation against civilians, particularly children, the sick, and the elderly.

The Children’s Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex reported receiving 35 new cases suffering from severe malnutrition, amid a severe shortage of medicines and therapeutic nutritional supplements, signaling a worsening humanitarian disaster.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate under the Israeli-imposed blockade, which has cut off access to essential food, medicine, and medical supplies. 

Starvation and malnutrition are emerging as deliberate weapons of war, with hospitals and relief organizations struggling to cope with the growing number of affected civilians, particularly children. 

Recent reports indicate a sharp increase in deaths and severe malnutrition cases, underscoring the urgent need for international intervention to prevent further loss of life. The crisis reflects a broader pattern of aggression that continues to devastate Gaza’s population, leaving communities vulnerable and aid efforts hampered by restricted access.
