News - Yemen: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) affirmed that the steadfast, brave, and resilient Yemeni spirit cannot be broken or subdued, following the recent treacherous Israeli attacks on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, which targeted several civilian and service facilities.

In an official statement condemning the strikes, the PFLP described the aggression as a failed attempt to subdue Yemen and halt its precision operations deep inside the Zionist entity.

“These criminal Zionist attempts, which directly target civilians, once again reveal the enemy’s cowardice, treachery, and brutality. However, such foolish and failed attempts will not deter the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces from defending their land and resources,” the statement read.

The PFLP expressed full solidarity with Yemen, its resilient people, and its Armed Forces, which have demonstrated strength and determination in confronting aggression and retaliating against attacks. 

The statement emphasized that Yemen’s enduring spirit, known for its courage and resilience, will continue to support Gaza with full force, despite significant sacrifices.

Concluding the statement, the PFLP expressed full confidence in Yemen’s ability to recover from losses, respond to aggression decisively, and continue writing a saga of steadfastness and defiance against any enemy.

The airstrikes on Sana’a came a day after Israeli media reported growing concern over Yemen’s advancing missile capabilities. Israeli outlets cited air force sources saying Yemen may have used a multiple-warhead ballistic missile for the first time, a development that could challenge Israel’s missile defense systems.

Since late 2023, Yemen has intensified operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s war on Gaza, combining a naval blockade of Israel-linked shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden with long-range missile and drone strikes deep inside occupied territories. The latest escalation, including hypersonic and suspected multiple-warhead missiles, has amplified pressure on Israel’s security establishment and provoked retaliatory strikes on Yemen.
