In its statement, Ansarullah said the Israeli enemy is “once again seeking a false victory to boost the morale of its Zionist usurpers,” but has only demonstrated “continued military and intelligence failure, further exposing the impact of Yemeni operations.”
The bureau stressed that “Yemen’s principled stance in supporting the Palestinian people and Gaza will not stop or be weakened by Israeli enemy escalation,” adding that “events prove the Zionist enemy seeks boundless killing and expansion, and the Uummah must firmly confront its schemes.”
Israeli warplanes carried out multiple raids on Sana’a Thursday afternoon, striking civilian infrastructure, service facilities, and densely populated residential neighborhoods in the south and west of the capital.
According to field reports, the Israeli enemy has launched more than 11 attacks on Yemeni territory since the start of 2025, largely targeting civilian and service facilities. Among the most repeatedly hit sites are the Haziz power station in Sana’a, struck on January 10, August 17, and August 24, as well as Yemen Oil Company facilities.
On May 5, the Israeli enemy bombed the port of Hodeidah, cement factories in Amran and Bajil, and other vital locations, followed the next day by airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport. The airport was again targeted on May 28, destroying its remaining infrastructure and the last civilian aircraft belonging to Yemenia Airways.
Hodeidah port was attacked again on July 21, following earlier strikes on Hodeidah, As-Salif, and Ras Issa ports on May 16, as well as multiple raids across Hodeidah governorate on July 7.
Hebrew media outlets claimed Thursday’s raids targeted senior Yemeni leadership. However, Ansarullah official Nasr al-Din Amer dismissed the reports as “baseless,” stressing that the enemy’s attack “failed” and vowing that Yemeni operations in support of Palestine would continue.
