News - Yemen: Palestinian resistance factions strongly condemned the Israeli enemy’s airstrikes on Yemen on Thursday, describing the aggression as a “war crime” and proof of the danger posed by the Zionist entity to the entire region.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement said the raids reflected the arrogance of the Netanyahu government, which “seeks to impose new maps by force through raids and massacres in Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon, alongside its ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.” The group stressed that Israeli strikes “will not deter the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces from continuing their support for Palestine and its resistance.”

The movement accused the United States of providing full cover for Israeli crimes through military and political backing, while warning that normalization agreements will not shield “complicit parties from the consequences.”

Similarly, the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas – condemned the aggression as “a blatant violation of international law and a flagrant assault on the sovereignty of an Arab state.” Hamas said the Israeli enemy’s assaults on Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine highlight its “terrorist and expansionist nature,” pointing to Netanyahu’s pursuit of the so-called “Greater Israel” project.

Hamas expressed full solidarity with the Yemeni people, their Armed Forces, and Ansarullah, affirming that “Zionist terrorism will not dissuade Yemen from supporting Gaza and Palestine.” The movement called on the international community, Arab and Islamic states, and the United Nations to act against Israeli crimes.

The Fatah al-Intifada movement also denounced the strikes, describing them as a reflection of the “confusion and failure of the enemy’s security establishment” in the face of Yemen’s growing military capabilities. It stressed that Yemen “will remain the beating heart of Arabism” and that such aggression cannot deter its steadfast support for Palestine.

The Popular Resistance Committees labeled the attack as further evidence that the Israeli entity is “a rogue and aggressive power that barbarically targets all peoples of the region.” They praised Yemen’s leadership, army, and people for their courage, declaring that “Zionist crimes will not break Yemen’s will or halt its support for Gaza.”

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Mujahideen movement described the raids as “an extension of the aggression against the Palestinian people,” saying that Yemen is paying the price for its historic stance in support of Gaza amid international silence and complicity. The movement urged Arab and Islamic nations to abandon paralysis and confront “the true threat represented by the Zionist enemy.”

On Thursday afternoon, Israeli enemy warplanes carried out heavy strikes on Sana’a, targeting densely populated southern and western neighborhoods. Hebrew media claimed the raids aimed at senior Yemeni leaders. However, Ansarullah official Nasr al-Din Amer dismissed the reports as “baseless,” confirming the attacks failed to achieve their objectives.

Since the Israeli enemy launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, Yemen has carried out dozens of retaliatory missile and drone operations in solidarity with Palestinians, vowing they will continue until the aggression and blockade end.
