News - Yemen: In a detailed reading of the regional landscape, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi warned that the Israeli enemy is seeking to impose new strategic equations in Syria and Lebanon by exploiting control over essential resources—particularly water—as a tool of domination and political blackmail.

Sayyed Al-Houthi stressed that the Israeli project aims not only to impose inflated prices on vital resources but also to turn them into instruments of extortion that undermine national decision-making and erode the independence of states and societies.

Political analyst Wassim Bazzi explained that the Sayyed’s warnings reflect lessons drawn from the Palestinian Authority experience, which was transformed into a security and political model serving the Israeli entity and enabling full subjugation of Palestinian society.

According to Bazzi, the enemy’s ultimate objective is the creation of what Sayyed Abdulmalik described as a “Palestinian-Lebanese-Syrian triangle,” a strategic framework that ensures direct control over political decision-making and armed resistance in these countries, thereby allowing the Israeli enemy to secure its interests without restrictions.

Bazzi further noted that current Lebanese government efforts to disarm the resistance fall within this expansionist project, with active backing from certain Arab parties—most notably Saudi Arabia—who are pressuring Lebanon into decisions that serve the enemy’s agenda by compromising sovereignty and weakening national military capabilities.

On Syria, Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed to the enemy’s pursuit, with American support, of building strategic bases, expanding critical corridors, and consolidating military-security structures that allow it to dominate land, borders, and resources.

Bazzi added that the intense US presence in Lebanon and Syria—through envoys, congressional delegations, and political missions—fits into a calculated strategy to advance Israeli objectives at the expense of national sovereignty, turning these states into operational arenas for occupation agendas.

Sayyed Abdulmalik also highlighted Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s praise of recent Lebanese government actions as clear evidence of the government’s alignment with Zionist schemes. Bazzi warned that Arab complacency further amplifies the risks, opening the door for the Israeli entity to replicate the Palestinian Authority model in Lebanon and Syria—imposing new political and security frameworks that endanger regional stability and national sovereignty.

The Israeli enemy has increasingly sought to expand its strategic reach across Lebanon and Syria in parallel with its ongoing war on Gaza. Analysts say this approach combines military presence, political pressure, and economic control—particularly over water and natural resources—as levers to reshape the region’s political map. 

Efforts to weaken the Lebanese resistance and destabilize Syria are seen as part of a wider project backed by the United States and some Arab regimes, with the aim of securing Israeli dominance over the region’s decision-making and resistance movements.
