According to Al-Masirah correspondent Doaa Rouqa, the eastern districts of Zaytoun and Sabra in Gaza City were heavily targeted at dawn, with the occupation using remote-controlled robots to booby-trap and demolish residential blocks. The scope of the offensive expanded to Shuja’iyya, Tuffah, Jabalia al-Balad, Jabalia al-Nazla, and Abu Iskandar, leaving no corner of northern Gaza untouched.
Rouqa described the situation as a “daily inferno,” with explosives planted in homes overnight and detonated in the morning, spreading panic and leaving residents with no chance to escape.
On Saturday, Israeli strikes hit a makeshift bakery set up in a tent to serve displaced families, killing 12 civilians, mostly women and children. A residential apartment in central Gaza City was also bombed, leaving seven dead and dozens injured. In Beach Refugee Camp (Shati), a seaside café frequented by civilians was shelled, killing five people.
Rouqa emphasized that the enemy “deliberately targets every civilian site—bakeries, cafés, tents of the displaced, and crowded homes—leaving no safe space and no escape route anywhere in the besieged Strip.”
Southern and Central Gaza
The aggression extended to the refugee camps of Nuseirat, Bureij, Maghazi, and Deir al-Balah, as well as to Khan Younis and Mawasi, areas previously designated as “safe zones.” These districts are now bombed almost daily, with tents sheltering displaced families repeatedly struck.
Health System on the Brink
Rouqa reported a looming total collapse of Gaza’s health system, citing severe shortages of medicines, surgical supplies, anesthesia, and blood units. She noted that the limited humanitarian aid allowed into Gaza is “insufficient, often expired, and has even caused cases of child poisoning.”
Forced Displacement
In northern Gaza, waves of forced displacement are underway in Jabalia al-Nazla and Abu Iskandar, where families are driven from their homes under bombardment. The correspondent described this as part of Israel’s “scorched earth” strategy, aimed at enforcing mass population transfers.
Rouqa dismissed claims of “safe areas” in southern Gaza as false and deceptive, stressing that every part of the Strip is under attack. She concluded: “This occupation respects neither the laws of war nor humanitarian agreements, and is carrying out a systematic genocide against more than two million besieged Palestinians.”
The escalation comes amid Israel’s months-long offensive on Gaza, marked by widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure and repeated attacks on displacement camps. International organizations have repeatedly warned of famine, disease, and systemic collapse in Gaza, while rights groups describe the bombardment as a campaign of ethnic cleansing and collective punishment.
