News - Yemen: Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Wednesday’s Israeli aggression targeting civilian sites in Sana'a and Al-Jawf, which left dozens of citizens dead or wounded. 

The ministry warned that the Zionist occupier will pay a heavy price for its ongoing aggression against Yemen.

In an official statement, the ministry described the targeting of civilians and civilian facilities as a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

It praised Yemen’s Air Defenses forces for confronting the Israeli aircraft, noting that the latest strikes add to Israel’s record of bloodshed and destruction.

The statement also criticized the “shameful silence” of the international community regarding Israeli crimes in Yemen, Gaza, and other countries in the region, saying it has emboldened Israel’s recklessness and impunity. 

The ministry warned that the Israeli enemy has become a brutal entity that disregards international law and commits unprecedented atrocities.

Reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering stance, the ministry stated that the cowardly Israeli aggression will only strengthen Yemen and its people’s resolve to support Palestine, uphold their moral and historical position, and continue aiding the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The latest Israeli aggression on Sana’a and Al-Jawf mark a sharp escalation in the Zionist enemy’s campaign to pressure Yemen into halting its military support for Gaza. Over the past weeks, the Israeli occupation has repeatedly bombed Yemeni cities, hitting civilian infrastructure, residential neighborhoods, and government facilities.

Despite these attacks, Yemen has intensified its military operations deep inside occupied Palestine, including precision strikes on Ramon and Lod airports. These operations have exposed the fragility of Israeli air defenses and signaled Yemen’s growing capability to strike strategic targets.

Observers stress that the targeting of civilians in Yemen, alongside ongoing massacres in Gaza, reflects the Zionist entity’s desperation to secure political and military gains amid its mounting failures. Yet, rather than deterring Yemen, the aggression has only deepened the country’s resolve to expand its operations and maintain its firm stance in support of the Palestinian people.
