Zionist Warplanes Face Heavy Losses Against Yemeni Air Defenses
News - Yemen: Zionist media acknowledged Friday that the Israeli enemy’s warplanes faced “serious risks” during air raids on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, and Al-Jawf province, colliding with a “wall of fire” from Yemeni Air Defenses that disrupted their missions.
According to Maariv, the hostile aircraft encountered “unprecedented challenges,” with the 2,350-kilometer flight distance further straining their operational capacity. The report noted that intense Yemeni anti-air fire forced enemy warplanes to abort part of their strikes and retreat.
The aggression targeted residential areas in Sana’a and Al-Hazm district of Al-Jawf, striking the headquarters of 26 September and Al-Yemen newspapers, civilian homes, and historical sites.
The Yemeni Ministry of Health confirmed that the raids left 46 citizens dead and 165 wounded, including large numbers of women and children, underscoring that the Zionist entity deliberately struck civilian populations.
