News - Yemen: Three young sisters were seriously injured on Friday when an unexploded ordnance from previous Saudi attacks detonated in the border district of Munabbih, Sa'adah governorate.

Medical sources at the Republican Hospital in Sa'adah confirmed that 11-year-old Iman Mohammed Jibran suffered severe injuries to both her upper and lower limbs. Her younger sister, Malika, 7, sustained shrapnel wounds in her legs and arms, while the youngest, Katiba, aged 4, was wounded in the abdomen and suffered multiple injuries across her body.

Doctors said the girls remain under intensive care, with their conditions described as critical but stable.

Incidents involving unexploded ordnance and cluster munitions left behind by the US-Saudi aggression continue to claim civilian lives in Yemen, particularly in Sa'adah and other border regions. 

According to humanitarian organizations, hundreds of civilians—many of them women and children—have been killed or maimed in similar explosions, highlighting the long-term dangers of these internationally banned weapons.
