News - Yemen: Yemen’s Defense Minister and Chief of Staff have warned that all options remain on the table, vowing that enemies will witness consequences they never anticipated. 

The statement praised the continuous support and guidance of leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in developing military capabilities, making the Yemeni Armed Forces “an unconquerable army and a sharpened sword against our enemies.”

The message, issued in a congratulatory telegram to Sayyed Abdulmalik on the 11th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, described the uprising as a historic movement that restored Yemen’s dignity, reclaimed national will from foreign domination, and secured independence and sovereignty.

The military leadership credited the revolution to divine will and Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi’s guidance, asserting that Yemen has become a fortified stronghold, where enemy conspiracies have repeatedly failed. The leadership pledged steadfastness, perseverance in jihad, and unwavering support for the nation, emphasizing that Yemen’s positions on regional issues remain firm and principled.

On the Palestinian issue, the statement stressed that Yemen’s support for Gaza is rooted in principle and faith, not rhetoric. The Armed Forces will continue backing Palestinian resistance “with all available power” and will confront the Zionist entity and its backers without hesitation. The leadership warned enemies that sacrifices made by Yemeni fighters in the fields of honor and dignity continue the path of the martyrs and serve the defense of Arab and Islamic blood, the protection of the nation’s dignity, and safeguarding of its holy sites.

Finally, the defense ministry and general staff reaffirmed their commitment to military development, readiness to deter any aggression, and the capacity to exact severe retaliation against any attacker.

The September 21 Revolution, which began in 2014, toppled the US-backed regime in Sana’a amid widespread corruption and foreign interference. Yemen has since faced a decade of aggression led by a Saudi coalition with American and Western support, resulting in a devastating humanitarian crisis.

The Yemeni leadership frames the revolution as both a struggle for national sovereignty and part of a broader confrontation with the Zionist entity, linking Yemen’s defense efforts to support for Palestine, including military operations against the Israeli enemy and measures to restrict its navigation in regional waters.
