Saudi Army Fire Injures Civilian, African Migrant in Yemen’s Sa'adah Border Region
News - Yemen: A Yemeni civilian and an African migrant worker were injured on Sunday when Saudi forces opened fire on border areas in Sa'adah Province, northern Yemen, according to local reports.
Almasirah correspondent in Sa'adah confirmed that the two victims were struck by Saudi army gunfire in the border districts of Qataber and Munabbih.
Just days earlier, four civilians were wounded by Saudi fire in the Al-Thabet area of Qataber district, underscoring the persistence of cross-border attacks.
These incidents form part of near-daily Saudi assaults on Yemen’s northern borderlands, which frequently result in casualties among civilians and migrants, along with damage to homes and farms. Local sources say the repeated attacks highlight Riyadh’s disregard for de-escalation efforts and exacerbate humanitarian suffering in the already impoverished region.
