Sana'a Hosts Major Rally Commemorating Sayyed Nasrallah's Martyrdom, Vows Continued Resistance

News - Yemen The Yemeni capital, Sana'a, witnessed a major central event Saturday commemorating the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The gathering saw wide official and popular participation, with attendees expressing their loyalty to the resistance leader, who they described as a symbol of steadfastness and jihad, asserting that his martyrdom had only strengthened their resolve.

In a speech, the Acting Prime Minister, scholar Mohamed Miftah, eulogized Sayyed Nasrallah as the "most prominent Arab and Islamic personality in the modern era." He claimed that plots to assassinate him had cost his enemies approximately ten trillion dollars, including funds provided by some Gulf states in service of the "Zionist project."

Miftah stated that Hezbollah, under Sayyed Nasrallah, had left behind a legacy of fidelity, values, and unparalleled heroic stances. He emphasized that the recent "Zionist aggression" on Sana'a aimed to free its agents from prisons but had failed, emphasizing that enemies of the September 21st revolution now serve Zionism.

Fuad Naji, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, said, "Today we commemorate the memory of he who raised the banner of jihad in an era of acquiescence and subservience, and who stood by Yemen when many others abandoned it." He added that Sayyed Nasrallah would remain in the memory of the Yemeni people not only as a resistance leader but also as a moral and humanitarian symbol.

Hussein Hazeb, a member of the General Committee of the General People's Congress party, emphasized that Hezbollah, under Sayyed Nasrallah's leadership, had managed to liberate Lebanese territories by military force, "something entire Arab armies failed to do." He pledged, "We will honor the Martyr of Islam and Humanity by following his path and preserving this jihadist approach, which represents the honor and dignity of the nation."

The event framed the commemoration as a reflection of Sayyed Nasrallah's place in the conscience of the Muslim nation and a renewal of the pledge to follow the path of resistance. It sent clear messages that the choice to confront the American-Zionist project is irreversible and that Yemenis remain committed to their covenant with all symbols of resistance.

Participants affirmed that Sayyed Nasrallah's blood would continue to fuel the spirit of dignity within the nation, and that his martyrdom would remain a defining milestone in the liberation struggle, with his values and positions serving as a beacon for future generations.

Today, the 27th of Septemper, marks the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the longtime leader of Hezbollah, a pivotal figure in the "Axis of Resistance" and a central player in Lebanese and regional politics for decades. Using 85 tons of explosives, Israeli jets leveled six residential buildings in Dahiyeh, following a week-long bombing campaign that hit many areas from southern Lebanon to Beirut.
