Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi Speaks on the National Day of the Glorious 21 September Revolution, in English (Sept. 21, 2025)

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran, {'Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them successors in the land, as He did with those before them, and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them and will indeed change their fear into security—"They worship Me, associating nothing with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that, it is they who will be the ungodly"'}[An-Nur 24:55].

On this blessed and cherished occasion—the anniversary of the great historic victory that Allah (Glory be to Him) granted to our dear people on the twenty-first of September—we first thank Allah (the Almighty), Who aided and granted success to our people through this blessed revolution, enabling them to achieve this remarkable achievement. We also extend our warmest congratulations and greetings to all our people, to their freedom fighters, and to the vanguards of their revolution, who played a fundamental role in achieving this success granted by Allah to this nation.

The 21st of September Revolution is a unique and momentous achievement realised by Allah through this proud people. It is distinguished by great features that are strikingly evident; it therefore requires no manufactured propaganda, nor does it depend on fabrication. Rather, it stands on facts as clear as the midday sun.

The first distinguishing feature of this blessed revolution is its authenticity and complete independence from any foreign influence. It is an authentic revolution of the Yemeni people, born of their pure and genuine will, with no external involvement:

  • not in decision-making,
  • nor in shaping its practical vision,
  • nor in the steps undertaken,
  • nor in its orientations and stances—nor any other forms of foreign interference.

It was driven by a purely Yemeni will, with every step carried out solely through Yemeni effort, free from any interference by foreign actors. The funding came from the people themselves, through supply convoys sent to the protest camps and the places where Yemenis mobilised to attain this rightful claim. Their reliance was on Allah (Glory be to Him) alone; all the effort was their own, and this was the will of none other than themselves. Their reliance on Allah, their trust in Him, their sacrifices, their contributions, their determination, and their awareness of the significance of their actions—all of that was very clear and resulted, by Allah's grace, in this great and historic victory.

Over whom was this victory achieved? We all know that this was a revolution of liberation—one that frees our dear people and our blessed country from overt foreign control and tutelage, which had tightened its grip on this land with the complicity and betrayal of certain local actors acting as mere tools in the hands of foreign powers. The Americans were at the forefront of these powers that dominated the country under explicit tutelage and under Chapter VII of the UN Security Council. The US ambassador in Sana'a effectively became the president's superior, standing above all authority and officials. He would make decisions, impose whatever he wanted, issue orders, and control the country's affairs. The Americans interfered in all affairs of the country, across all fields, serving their own interests and pursuing their own objectives at the expense this people. As a result, there was a total loss of sovereignty and independence—a complete forfeiture of both.

Some local actors in power fully submitted to foreign tutelage, including parties, factions, and prominent figures. They had no hope that this country could gain independence and, at the same time, were utterly beholden to external powers; therefore, they fell into a state of total submission and paved the way for American interference and dominance.

Therefore, our dear people moved to accomplish this great achievement of liberation and secured a victory over the foreign powers—headed by the Americans—that had violated the independence and sovereignty of this country. This is the first distinguishing feature: the absolute absence of foreign influence over this revolution. It is not a foreign creation—not in its will, its idea, its actions, nor in any of its orientations or positions. It truly expresses the will of this people, and its only driving force was their sincere will.

Among the most distinguished and remarkable features of this blessed revolution is its irreproachable and exemplary conduct, marked by high discipline and responsible behaviour that truly embodies the faith-inspired morals of our dear people. Even in dealing with the staunchest opponents of this blessed revolution, conduct remained exemplary.

On 21 September, with that historic victory, there were no assaults, abuses, or injustices committed by the leaders or supporters of this revolution. There were no massacres, no acts of genocide, and no settling of scores—whether politically, against any particular group or party, or on any other basis. If there were any individual incidents at all, they were extremely limited—scarcely worth mentioning.

On that same day, with the great historic achievement in the capital, Sana'a, security and stability were established for all. This revolution brought safety and reassurance to every resident of Sana'a, to all its people, to every group, and to all the sons and daughters of this nation, regardless of their political affiliations or anything else. This was evident to all, and it remains a recent chapter in our history.

All the events of that time bear witness to the flawless and high-minded conduct shown—there was no settling of political scores under any pretext or in any form. From the very beginning, the revolution was founded on the right principles, the right direction, and a just approach. It did not act like others, who serve only as tools for America and Israel and their regional proxies, with no genuine project for the benefit of the Yemeni people. Their only agenda is to stir up sectarian, regional, and ethnic conflicts. All their activities, media work, and programmes revolve around fomenting discord and hatred under the banners of sect, region, or ethnicity, for they have no real project to serve this country. As a result, their mobilisation is driven by hatred, resentment, and animosity, all aimed at undermining the internal fabric of this nation. That is why they work tirelessly and with great intensity to tear apart the social fabric of our people, to create rifts among Yemenis, and to cut the ties that have united us for generations—bonds of brotherhood, faith, and every noble connection.

All their efforts—with external backing, funding from some Gulf states, American oversight, and Israeli engineering—are focused on this destructive path, which runs counter to the values, principles, and teachings of Islam and the Holy Quran. They strive to provoke hatred, animosity, and division among the people of this great nation: Yemen, the land of faith, wisdom, and Islam. They also strive to tarnish its entire history. This is rooted in their deep resentment of Yemen's great, distinguished, and honourable history. They are utterly alienated from this people's past, going all the way back to the early days of Islam, and their profound antagonism drives them to malign Yemen's history in its entirety.

Even today, these groups are working relentlessly to tear apart the social fabric of our people, severing bonds and ties. Their media output and every activity—marked by misguidance and distortion of the truth—are all directed towards this destructive end. This, in itself, is enough to expose them: They have no genuine project that can, by Allah's grace, unite the Yemeni people and bring them together, nor do they have any project that calls for fostering brotherhood and cooperation. This is precisely what the Holy Quran calls for: {'And all of you must hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided'}[Ali 'Imran 3:103]. As for those tools serving the interests of the Americans and Israelis and their regional tools, they only call for division, discord, hatred, and animosity—as we have explained—using every negative label, including sectarian, doctrinal, regional, and ethnic labels. They provoke discord and evil, following the accursed devil, even to the point of deliberately fuelling social tensions. We have observed intelligence-led activities on their part, designed to incite disputes and conflicts between tribes. They orchestrate and supervise these efforts as part of their malign, devilish campaign.

Allah's call in the Holy Quran is a call to brotherhood: {'Indeed, all the believers are but brothers'}[Al-Hujurat 49:10]. Meanwhile, all the efforts of those others are focused on the internal affairs of this nation, seeking to turn people into enemies and adversaries:

  • One takes a stand against another on ethnic grounds.
  • Another does so on sectarian or doctrinal grounds.
  • Another on regional grounds.

Everything they present and all their relentless media coverage testify to these truths. All their rhetoric stands in stark opposition to the Quran and the values of faith. They never take a sincere or honest position in line with where the Ummah should truly stand: against its real enemies—the Americans and Israelis—who actively seek to enslave, humiliate, and violate this Ummah. On the contrary, their aim is to distract people from any genuine or principled position against the true enemies of the Ummah: America and Israel.

The 21st of September Revolution, in its very principles, slogans, actions, and objectives, is a pure revolution—free from the flaws that taint the subordinate groups working in service of the enemy of this people and this Ummah. It does not call for hatred or animosity on ethnic, sectarian, or regional grounds.

Even after Allah granted this people a great triumph and the revolution came to power, there was no settling of scores, no acts of genocide, or the like. In fact, the leaders of those local tools felt entirely secure. Alongside the achievements on the ground, tremendous efforts were made to preserve the brotherhood and cooperation among the people. At that time, the Peace and Partnership Agreement was put forward—a political formula signed by all, recognised internationally, and acknowledged by both international and regional parties. However, at the behest of foreign powers—the Americans, Israelis, and their regional proxies—these local tools completely turned against that agreement and openly renounced it in an explicit and public manner. They did so despite the fact that the agreement had treated them with the utmost fairness, even beyond fairness, allowing each group to retain its role under the formula, so long as it served the public interest. But this was not what they wanted. Their desire was to operate as instruments for foreign interests, guided by foreign agendas. They are controlled remotely, directed by the Americans through their regional tools and sometimes directly.

What truly distinguishes this revolution from all others is its exemplary conduct and outstanding approach. It brought security and stability to this country, to all areas under its control, including the capital, Sana'a, and it did so with exceptional discipline, even though it was a popular revolution that mobilised millions. Its participants embodied the authentic values of our people: tolerance, brotherhood, and a clear rejection of score-settling or the criminal and brutal acts typical of others.

The greatest achievement of this popular revolution was its success in ending foreign control and tutelage over this country. This is a remarkable achievement by all standards, especially religious standards, because those who were in control of Yemen and presented themselves as its trustees were, in fact, the enemies of the nation, with the Americans foremost among them. The others were merely their accomplices. Although there was much talk of the so-called 'Group of Ten', in reality, the Americans held the real power, while the rest simply followed their lead. This is clear to anyone who remembers the events of that period and the nature of American involvement, especially the prominent role of the American ambassador. Everything was visible and out in the open; nothing was hidden or disguised. This received wide media coverage, and American actions were blatant across every field: the ambassador's meetings and the interference by the US embassy and through American officials sent to Yemen—all conducted openly, including interference in the military, security, economic, educational, cultural, and media sectors. The negative consequences of this interference continued to manifest in reality, leaving a profoundly damaging impact on the lives of the Yemeni people in every sphere.

From a faith, moral, and religious standpoint, this achievement—the liberation from American and foreign domination—is of immense significance. The central and most fundamental principle of the true divine religion (great Islam, which is our noble people's faith) is exclusive servitude to Allah and liberation from tyranny. What the Americans enforce upon our Ummah is nothing less than enslavement. America seeks to impose absolute control in every sphere, shaping people's lives according to its dictates and agendas that are rooted in tyranny. It is an arrogant, unjust, and godless power that steers people away from divine values, teachings, justice, truth, and the common good. It leads them towards evil, oppression, corruption, and tyranny, stripping people of their faith, moral, and ethical identity and directing them towards what is ultimately harmful in both this world and the next.

Therefore, from a faith-based and religious perspective, this monumental achievement—independence from the Americans, its allies, and tools—carries supreme religious value. Above all, it is of religious importance, as it truly embodies and fulfils the requirement of true belonging to faith and Islam with its core principle: 'There is no god but Allah.'

As for those local and regional tools who seek to provoke hatred on ethnic, sectarian, or regional grounds—what were they actually working towards among our people? In truth, they were utterly subservient to American will and dictates. They were working to subjugate this people to become servants to America, the arrogant, oppressive, corrupt, and godless power, pushing to accept its plans and agendas in every domain—those same destructive agendas that had led the country to the brink of total collapse. With that said, such people were not trustworthy and had no loyalty, values, or even goodwill towards this nation; rather, they act solely in ways that harm the country and put it in peril, seeking to enslave this nation—a nation proud in its faith and free by the grace of Islam. They were seeking to make this people serve the will and agenda of America, even at the expense of their country.

The great achievement of the 21st of September Revolution carries immense significance in terms of human values: It restored dignity to this nation, reaffirming the true meaning of freedom—that we are servants to none but Allah and should therefore submit only to His commands, His just path, His noble faith, and His valuable teachings. This principle is fundamental to the very concept of human worth, for when a person is made subservient to anyone other than Allah, it is a calamity, stripping him of his human dignity and value. That is why this achievement matters so much: It has restored the dignity and honour of our people—dignity that their enemies and their tools had sought to deny them.

The Americans leave no true identity or human worth for any society that is submissive, obedient, or bound to them. Any submission, obedience, or subservience to the Americans comes at the cost of one's human dignity, faith-based identity, and value. Indeed, this is the inevitable outcome of complete dependence on the Americans and submitting to their control and their agendas and directives.

The outcome of this great achievement of the 21 September Revolution holds immense significance. When a people possess their freedom, independence, and human dignity, while preserving their faith-based identity, they can lay the foundations of a true human civilisation. Acting upon this, they can secure their future in both this world and the Hereafter. This is because a Muslim's considerations are not confined to this life alone but also extend to his destiny in the Hereafter. The Hereafter carries great weight for those who believe in Allah and the Last Day. This is the case for those who belong to Islam and faith.

Therefore, by possessing their freedom, independence, human dignity, and faith-based pride, our dear people are able to move forward on this foundation when building their civilisation, their future, and their reality. They can chart their course in life upon this vital foundation, which is indispensable for any people who seek a genuine and rightful renaissance. They have secured the foremost necessity: to be an independent country, free from subordination, dependency, and foreign domination. This has been of immense importance, both for the internal situation and for external relations and positions.

The situation prior to this great achievement was catastrophic and extremely dangerous. As we have said, the country was moving towards complete collapse in every sphere due to American tutelage, submission, and interference in all areas.

The political situation was clearly heading towards collapse. There were severe crises, deep divisions, sharp political splits, and intense rivalry for America's favour. Most political factions sought to curry favour with America—some hoping it would appoint them as its proxy in the country or grant them greater influence and so on.

Economically, the situation was clearly heading towards total collapse—which is well known to everyone—and there was no justification for that, especially as there was no military war being waged on the country. The state of the nation was well known. Although their obedience to the Americans created many problems, as we mentioned, all of Yemen (from end to end) remained under that authority, along with all its resources and wealth. There was no war waged on this country. Many loans, grants, and foreign aid were officially announced and provided to the government at that time.

The authority, being subservient to foreign powers and loyal to the Americans, along with the factions aligned with it, had no excuse for the economic collapse, especially considering that all sovereign national resources, including oil, were in their hands. Indeed, all resources were under their control. There was neither an external war nor an international blockade. They therefore had no justification whatsoever for the economy to be heading towards total collapse and severe crises, with no tangible benefit from the oil, gas, and vast resources, the country's immense wealth, or from foreign aid, loans, and grants. There was no blockade, nothing of the sort, yet the economy still deteriorated.

Regarding the security collapse, Sana'a itself had become unsafe, with security officers being killed regularly. Attacks even reached some official hospitals, and crimes and assaults on civilians had escalated within Sana'a itself: assassinations, murders, and banditry. The manifestations of security breakdown in the capital were widespread, let alone in other areas! Roadblocks between Sana'a and other governorates, the looting of travellers, and other clear signs of the breakdown of security were starkly apparent. The criminal takfiri ideology had spread to the heart of Sana'a, its surroundings, and most other governorates. In short, all forms of security breakdown were prevalent, and the situation at that stage was widely known—a collapse of this magnitude.

At the military level, the army was being dismantled; its weapons destroyed; and even its aircraft—including warplanes—were falling, some within the centre of Sana'a. Officers, under the supervision of female American intelligence operatives, were destroying air defence weapons and equipment. It was a major conspiracy against the army, aimed at bringing it to the point of collapse.

The Yemeni people were also targeted in their values and morals, as the American embassy ran training courses for mosque preachers! Imagine the extent of this—such a thing is truly astonishing! The embassy organised educational courses, providing guidance to mosque preachers, and it held numerous workshops in this regard. It also interfered in judicial affairs and in all other aspects. America worked extensively on the school curricula, on the educational process, and on teachers themselves. All of this was documented in detail, reported in newspapers, and covered by official media and other sources. This is not to mention the effort to tear apart the social fabric, as the Americans and Israelis focused on fuelling conflicts and divisions under ethnic labels. There were attempts to establish new groups under religious banners, such as the Ahmadis, Bahá'ís, and others. At the same time, atheism and all forms of subversive and destructive activity were being promoted. They also focused on spreading corruption, as they attempted to establish nightclubs and promote alcohol in the heart of Sana'a, the capital of the Yemen of Faith—all under official leniency and even protection at the time.

This is how they were targeting this people—their identity, values, and morals, among other aspects. Their objective was to strip our people of every moral and faith-based value and of all sources of strength.

This targeting encompassed employing political fragmentation and dispersion. They created numerous organisations and small parties, dismantling and dispersing the people to the lowest levels. They sorted and classified people in the American manner, segregating the youth and women separately. They sought to dismantle the family and its structure in this country, using all the banners to scatter the members of this people to the lowest levels. Also, they relentlessly pursued an intellectual campaign, steadily infusing Western concepts to destroy, fragment, scatter, mislead, and subjugate this people to the West—to make them accept American and Israeli domination and strip them of pride, dignity, and honour. They pursued this with extreme intensity; this was evident.

Therefore, popular mobilisation became truly essential. It bore witness to the fact that this noble people are deeply rooted in faith, just as the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) declared: 'The belief is that of the Yemenites.' A people so deeply bound to their faith and faith-based identity could never submit to the Americans or accept being enslaved by the Americans and the Israelis and their tools of treachery and crime. This is impossible, as it contradicts their faith and faith-based belonging, dignity, and honour. They could never abandon their values and morals in favour of Western-manufactured substitutes, whether intellectual or related to behaviour, conduct, and social norms. These include the promotion of immorality and vice, the disintegration of the family, and all other aspects disseminated through their corrupting 'soft war', which misleads peoples, undermines values, and destroys morals.

Our people's mobilisation embodied their values, their spirit, and their faith-based identity, achieving a remarkable accomplishment—unmatched across the entire region. As such, the primary reaction was external. Who was provoked by this achievement, this vital and faith-based achievement that goes in line with morals and human values? It provoked the Americans and the Israelis.

Among those who took explicit, public positions at that early stage were the Israeli enemy and the criminal Netanyahu. He even described this great achievement of the Yemeni people—this blessed revolution and magnificent victory—as the most dangerous development in the region, claiming that it was more dangerous even than the Iranian nuclear programme. He regarded the triumph of this people as a threat to him—why? This is because the Israeli agenda aims to construct a 'Greater Israel' and dominate what they call 'the Middle East'. And the liberation and rise of a people like the Yemenis, with their freedom and faith-based identity, is seen as a threat by the Israeli enemy. The Israeli enemy recognises that the Yemeni people will not remain silent, bow down, or surrender. More than that, it knows that the Yemeni people will even play a significant role within the Ummah, as their early ancestors did— the early supporters of Islam and of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH&F)—who carried the banner of Islam, faith, and jihad against tyranny, arrogance, disbelief, and evil. It is also fully aware that our people will carry that banner today, as an extension of their predecessors—the banner of Islam, of jihad, of truth—standing up to the Americans and the Israelis and confronting their efforts to dominate this region, to destroy and humiliate its peoples, and to seize control of their lands.

Therefore, the reaction came first from Israel and America. However, at that stage, they chose to mobilise their regional tools to take the frontline and shoulder the financial burdens, for they recognised that attacking this people and attempting to subjugate them again would be difficult and require an extremely costly, large-scale operation with grave repercussions. Thus, they activated their regional tools to bear the burdens. The Saudi regime assumed that role within a coalition it formed, joined by the UAE and other regimes, operating under direct U.S. supervision, driven and orchestrated by Israel and involving Britain. The three arms of Zionism—America, Britain, and Israel—played a principal role in designing, overseeing, participating in, and pushing forward the aggression against our country, and they remain active in that role. The assault on our homeland was conducted under direct American supervision—a fact acknowledged even within America, where some members of Congress openly stated that if the American president wanted to stop the war against Yemen, he could do so with a single word.

The aggression against Yemen bore every hallmark of criminality associated with the Americans, British, and Israelis—crimes of genocide, the killing of civilians, including children and women, the targeting of cities, villages, neighbourhoods, and everything meant to be protected by values, international covenants, and norms.

It is well-known what the Saudi regime has committed in Yemen under American supervision, with American and British participation, encouraged and driven by Israeli influence, and with Israeli involvement as well. They committed horrific crimes, and the world witnessed what happened over the years of this aggression: intense escalation spanning eight years, followed by the continuation of the oppressive siege, the occupation of large portions of Yemen, and the deprivation of Yemenis from their own sovereign wealth, which is rightfully theirs to benefit from. Also, a ferocious economic war was waged, whose measures target the Yemeni people, harming even those living in the occupied governorates. The Americans, along with the Israelis, sought to control our country, yet they failed, as did their regional and local tools.

The local tools have no objective other than enabling foreign powers to occupy the country. Whether acting under various banners or through their habitual activities—inflaming sensitivities and discord to tear apart the social fabric, using hate speech to divide the people along ethnic, sectarian, racial, or regional lines—all of this simply serves to empower the foreign occupation of the country. They have no other goal.

Since our people adopted this noble, free, and faith-driven position in support of the Palestinian people and engaged in direct confrontation with the Israeli enemy, those tools have been exposed more than ever before to every member of our people and to the public at large. It has become clear that they are aligned with the Israeli front, as all their positions, media campaigns, and political headlines that they focus on serve to support the Israeli enemy against our people.

They focus all their efforts on distorting the position of our dear people in supporting the Palestinian people, along with spreading doubt about this position and undermining its value, although the entire world, including the Israeli enemy itself, acknowledged the significance of this position. This position holds importance and influence and inflicts great losses upon the Israeli enemy economically and in all other aspects. Additionally, it is a position unmatched in today's world, standing out amidst widespread passivity that has shamefully spread throughout the Islamic world. Such a remarkable, great, and honourable position stands out uniquely, yet they cast doubt, spread discouragement, and try to demoralise.

At the same time, they openly declare positions that support the Israeli enemy and repeat Israeli terminology and narratives against the Yemeni people in describing this position. They even show their willingness to fight side by side with the Israeli enemy.

They have even gone so far as to host Zionist spies dispatched by the Israeli enemy to the occupied governorates. Also, some of them in the media interact directly with Israeli channels, expressing friendliness and brotherhood with the Israelis. One of them addressed a Zionist on an Israeli channel, saying, 'My dear brother'—such is the language they use. This is exactly the language of hypocrites, as the Quran describes: {'They say to their brothers who have disbelieved among the People of the Book'}[Al-Hashr 59:11]—considering them brothers. All their efforts serve the American and Israeli agenda, which seeks to prevent Yemen from standing with the Palestinian people.

Indeed, at this stage, the enemies focus all their efforts on eliminating the Yemeni front by every possible means. This, in the first place, has to do with their aim to isolate the Palestinian people so that they can defeat them and then shift their focus to other countries. They openly and repeatedly declare that 'Changing the Middle East' is what they want. This is a stark and unambiguous phrase that encompasses the entire region. In plain terms, it means complete Israeli domination over the Arab world. That is the bottom line. For this Ummah to fall under Israeli control means to be dominated by the worst enemy of Islam and Muslims, the most wicked of Allah's creation, the most criminal and corrupt of people. Such domination would entail the loss of the Ummah's religion, worldly affairs, future, and everything it holds dear. In short, it would be a catastrophe in every sense of the word.

The Israeli enemy has laid bare its true nature through its crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza, its brutality and its heinous treatment of women, children, the elderly, and the young, demonstrating that it stands at the very pinnacle of evil, criminality, malice, and wickedness. Indeed, the Israeli enemy, through its practices, stands as the epitome of evil, crime, and tyranny.

This enemy, with all its malice and evil, does not even recognise its mercenaries or their regional masters as human beings. Its position towards this Ummah as a whole—even towards those who love it, support it, and sacrifice themselves for its sake—is clear: It does not even acknowledge their humanity. It holds their lives in utter disregard; no one has value in its eyes. Do you not believe Allah, when He says, {'Here you are! You love them but they do not love you'}[Ali 'Imran 3:119]? Allah—the Most Truthful—said this about those who love them, support them, ally with them, oppose their enemies, and claim to share a common enemy with them: {'Here you are! You love them but they do not love you'}[Ali 'Imran 3:119]. It is a clear and decisive statement from the Most Truthful, the One Who knows all things, the One Who sees everything in the heavens and the earth: {'Allah knows best who your enemies are'}[An-Nisa 4:45]—He is the All-Knowing (Glory be to Him).

All efforts by the Americans, Israelis, and their regional tools are aimed at eliminating our country's front—one that genuinely supports the Palestinian people with sincerity, commitment, steadfastness, and at the highest possible level, both the state and the public. They seek to eliminate this front to ensure that the Israeli enemy can feel secure and act without restraint, and that there is no place for this unique model, which inspires hope for other peoples. This is a model that demonstrates for others that they can take such a great stand—rooted in religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility—and to stand high and firm as the situation demands. Such a stance is the key to salvation for our Ummah, for the Israeli enemy poses a grave threat to it.

The Israeli enemy, in its aggression against the Palestinian people and beyond Palestine—as seen in Lebanon and Syria—operates under a broad, comprehensive banner. When the criminal Netanyahu himself, holding the highest official Israeli position, openly declares that he is seeking to change the Middle East and actively working towards that objective, and even says that they are 'changing the Middle East', which clearly means that the process of change is already underway—with all Israeli criminal acts, conspiracies, and schemes falling within this framework—does the phrase 'the Middle East' mean only Gaza, Palestine, or specific parts of this region? Absolutely not! The Israeli enemy, driven by all its greed and malice, seeks control over the entire region and even covets the vast resources of the Gulf states. It desires all the wealth and lands of this Ummah and stands as an enemy to all its sacred sites. It is an enemy of Mecca and Medina to the same extent as it is of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and even more so, for it recognises their supreme sanctity and religious importance to this Ummah.

The Israeli enemy is explicit in its positions: It openly declares it stance towards Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, and has waged aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. It even attacked Qatar—an assault that serves as a lesson for all members of this Ummah, foremost among them the Gulf states. It demonstrated a total disregard for all that they rely on and believe will protect them. Many Arab countries imagine that an American military base on their soil, strong ties with the United States, financial support for America, close relationships with Western (especially European) countries, shared economic interests with the West, and total political alignment with those nations will ensure their safety. In fact, when it comes to Israeli ambitions and the Zionist project, none of this counts for anything—it is meaningless and irrelevant.

To see this, just consider the response of the Israelis and the Americans themselves following the Arab Islamic summit in Qatar. Both showed insistence on continuing their policy of violation and expanding its reach within the Ummah. The Israeli enemy—whether through Netanyahu or others, the Israeli military or otherwise—has made clear that it will strike wherever and whenever it chooses, regarding the entire Ummah as fair game. No exceptions have been offered—not to the Gulf states, not to any Arab nation, never—because it truly seeks to impose this reality of unchecked aggression against the entire Ummah.

Even the much-talked-about efforts to reach a so-called 'security agreement' in Syria will never protect Syria, no matter what agreements are made:

  • Take, for example, the Palestinian Authority—have any agreements provided it with protection in the West Bank? The Israeli enemy continues to announce further annexations, confiscate more land in the West Bank, and subject the Palestinian people to the harshest forms of oppression—displacement, destruction, and assaults of every kind. The Israeli enemy has never given any weight to political or security agreements or any other accords with the Palestinian Authority.
  • The Israeli enemy shows no respect for its agreement with Lebanon; its attacks on Lebanon have been relentless, even with American guarantees in place.
  • It did not honour its earlier agreement in the Gaza Strip, despite American, Qatari, and Egyptian guarantees.

The Israeli enemy respects no agreements whatsoever. It will keep up its incursions, its violations, and its consolidation of control over southern Syria. It will continue advancing the so-called 'David Corridor' plan to reach the Euphrates. It will keep trying to court the minorities, taking advantage of the blind policies of Syria's ruling groups, whose oppression of minorities only pushes them into Israel's arms. Thus, nothing will change. Nothing will safeguard this Ummah — its people, its governments, and its states—except a determined, practical stand against the Israeli enemy through concrete actions.

How could the Israeli enemy not be emboldened to carry on its aggressive policies and approach when, on the one hand, it receives open and unconditional support from America? An extensive US arms package—worth roughly $5 billion—has just been announced for the Israeli enemy. What is it for? To sustain aggression, continue the destruction of Gaza, and facilitate any further attacks on these countries.

This very step of continuously supplying ever more weapon shipments is clear evidence of America's course, which is to sustain the aggression and criminality.

The Americans provide open support—financially, with weapons, in planning, through military reconnaissance—in all forms of cooperation, alongside political backing: using its veto to block any Security Council resolutions to halt Israeli aggression against children and women in Gaza and the Palestinian people as a whole, hindering all international initiatives to end the mass extermination of the Palestinian people.

On the other hand, the Arab world offers no support and takes no practical action. Even when they say that they are seeking recognition of the Palestinian state by certain European countries, according to this vision—a nominal state that has no full rights, covering only a very small part of Palestine, less than a fifth of its territory–this symbolic step, which remains merely a media statement expressed in forums or some meetings will have no real effect in preventing the Israeli enemy from continuing its crimes. Why? That is because the Arabs have not yet managed the most basic practical response: a boycott of the Israeli enemy, halting economic, military, and intelligence collaboration. Some Gulf and Arab regimes collaborate with the Israeli enemy on intelligence matters, working against all the free people of this Ummah, against the mujahidin in Gaza, against the Yemeni front, and against Hezbollah and the resistance in Lebanon. They assist this enemy in its conspiracies against the people of this Ummah who take a sincere stand, offering the highest levels of sacrifice in confronting this enemy that is hostile to the entire Ummah.

It cannot but embolden the Israeli enemy to persist in its actions when it sees some of the wealthiest and most powerful Arab states standing by its side in what ultimately constitutes a threat to themselves:

  • They support it financially.
  • They collaborate with it economically.
  • They collaborate with it on intelligence matters.
  • They oppose those fronts standing in its face.
  • They openly support disarming the mujahidin in Gaza and Lebanon.
  • They adopt the Israeli narratives against the Yemeni front.
  • They provide material, intelligence and other support against Yemen.
  • They even collaborate with the Israeli enemy on any targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

If the Israeli enemy were to eliminate these fronts, it would, by Allah, then turn to target others. They are ripe for total defeat and utter collapse:

  • They are not in a position to take serious action now, let alone under entirely different circumstances.
  • Their weaponry and military equipment are subject to America's command, control, and decision, and it will not permit them to use any of it against Israel. In fact, even purchases are conditioned on not using it except with American permission and where America chooses.
  • Their internal situation is not one of building strength among their peoples as required for any confrontation with the Israeli enemy; rather, it is one that incites enmity towards those who oppose Israel, and tames people for Israel and America.

They lack any real prerequisites for resistance and make no effort to obtain them. At the very least, they ought to have benefited from these fronts, which have a clear and honest position against the Israeli enemy and are already in conflict with it. They should have refrained from conspiring against them or targeting them economically, in intelligence, militarily, or in any other manner. Instead, they offer token gestures to the Palestinians—summits, conferences and political statements—while continuing to provide billions of dollars to the Israeli enemy, maintaining economic collaboration with it, and collaborating against those who confront it. This is dangerous for them and will bring them no benefit.

The true interest of all Muslims and Arabs lies in directing and coordinating all their efforts against the Israeli enemy. Collaboration with the Israeli enemy will benefit no one; complacency will protect no one, and token gestures will not safeguard the Palestinian people as long as the situation persists.

Today, the official position of many Arab regimes does not even match that of countries like Colombia, Spain, Venezuela, or South Africa—nations which have boycotted Israel and taken far more advanced positions than some Arab regimes.

What serves our Ummah, with all its peoples, is to observe the guidance of the Holy Quran and place our trust in Allah and in His guidance: {'Verily, this Quran guides to the straightest way '}[Al-Isra 17:9]. Reflect on what the Quran says about your enemies and what it sets forth as the right path and the correct direction when facing them: It is jihad in the path of Allah, the very path our people have followed and remain committed to in facing the Israeli enemy.

That is why we reaffirm our full readiness to work with all members of our Ummah along this Quranic, rational, and natural path towards serving the Ummah and strengthening its position in the face of the Zionist Israeli threat and scheme, which targets everyone without exception. You only have to listen to what Netanyahu keeps talking about regarding 'the Middle East' and 'Greater Israel' to clearly see that the entire region is under threat.

Our people remain steadfast in their position. We remain committed to our revolutionary efforts to, Allah willing, reform the official situation, achieve economic development, and confront the enemies, despite the harsh circumstances:

  • We face a legacy of a deeply entrenched dysfunction that has built up over decades. For over thirty years, the nation's wealth was plundered, with more than $500 billion in oil revenues lost to the people, without ever establishing a proper economic infrastructure. Even when all economic opportunities and resources were perfectly available—no blockade, no military assault—there was enormous dysfunction in the state's structure and laws, with everything built based on factional, partisan, and personal interests. It is clear that those who held power then prioritised their own interests, amassing companies and vast resources. Even a United Nations Security Council report speaks of over sixty billion dollars belonging to a single individual—just the leftovers after the feast—from those who controlled the country for so long. What, then, of all that was plundered and taken away from this people?
  • We also face a suffocating blockade and a major war. We are in confrontation with America, with Israel, and with those aligned with them, facing intense pressure, economic warfare, and truly exceptional circumstances.

However, by the grace of Allah (the Almighty), our people are a great, steadfast people deeply rooted in faith, and they have great awareness and Quranic insight and uphold faith-based values, relying on Allah (the Almighty) and placing their trust in Him. Therefore, they will overcome every challenge and hardship through this trust and reliance. Allah (Glory be to Him) is the Best Patron and the Best Supporter; He will not forsake a believing people who place their trust in Him, follow His path, submit to Him, and liberate themselves from all tyrants. Allah (Glory be to Him) is the Best Patron and the Best Supporter—what an excellent patron and supporter!

By Allah's grace and support and through trust in Him, our people will overcome every obstacle, every challenge, and every hardship, and they will reap the greatest reward of this great revolution of liberation: the building of a leading civilisation, founded upon their faith-based identity and set on solid foundations.

These challenges enable our noble people to turn adversity into opportunity, forging a strong, cohesive, and enduring society so that Yemen lives a new reality:

  • a nation with a resilient economy, local production, and strong agriculture—a truly productive country;
  • militarily powerful;
  • socially unified, with the bonds of faith strengthened, making its people cooperative and harmonious, rejecting all enemy attempts to divide them through sectarian, racist, or regional slogans;
  • a people united by their faith and their commitment to truth, holding fast to the rope of Allah, with great awareness and immense faith;
  • a people who uphold their faith-inspired pride and human dignity, steadfast in their noble stance and resolute in supporting the Palestinian people and confronting the Zionist project that seeks to violate this Ummah, erase its identity, and target it in its faith and worldly affairs, in its present and its future.

Our people are fully aware of the significance and greatness of their stance, knowing it is a cause worthy of sacrifice for Allah's sake (Glory be to Him) and the ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and for their dear mujahidin.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
