Al-Yousfi: Sayyed Nasrallah’s Charisma Shattered Enemy’s Aura
Yemeni writer and journalist Fahmi al-Yousfi said in an interview with Al-Masirah TV that the commemorative speech delivered by Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi highlighted the depth of Sayyed Nasrallah’s revolutionary and jihadi character.
He explained that the speech shed light on the culture of resistance established by Sayyed Nasrallah, who stood as a rare and exceptional leader. According to al-Yousfi, Sayyed Nasrallah’s charisma broke the aura of fear surrounding the Zionist enemy, inspiring people to confront the most powerful Western and Israeli military arsenals without hesitation.
Al-Yousfi also recalled Hezbollah’s steadfastness during the July 2006 war and its ongoing resilience against the Zionist entity, before and after Sayyed Nasrallah’s martyrdom. He stressed that Sayyed Nasrallah symbolized sacrifice for the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, laying the groundwork for a broad regional resistance project.
Al-Moussawi: “A Leader the Size of a Nation”
From Lebanon, Sayyed Yasser Abbas al-Moussawi — son of the martyred Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi — offered a deeply personal testimony. In remarks to Al-Masirah, he described Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as a father, mentor, and compassionate guide who embraced him after his own father’s assassination.
He said Sayyed Nasrallah dedicated his entire life to defending the oppressed, whether in Lebanon or across the world, and was a source of strength and tenderness for those around him. “His martyrdom left a wound not only in Lebanon but in every heart that loves freedom,” al-Moussawi said.
Recalling intimate moments, he quoted Sayyed Nasrallah’s words about his father: “Whatever I say about Sayyed Abbas, I will never give him his due. But believe me, what Sayyed Abbas gave us with his blood could never have been given in life.”
He recalled that Sayyed Nasrallah’s guidance extended beyond politics or resistance: he nurtured ethics and morality, holding public gatherings in the 1990s at Al-Qa’im Mosque in southern Beirut, discussing virtue, faith, and the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt. Sayyed Nasrallah instilled in generations a spirit of dedication, belief in the cause, and the values of loyalty and giving.
Al-Moussawi highlighted Hezbollah’s achievements under Sayyed Nasrallah: the 2000 liberation, the historic July 2006 victory, the 2017 campaign against takfiri groups, and the ongoing struggle against the U.S.-Israeli project. He stressed that Sayyed Nasrallah lived in honor and victory and departed martyrdom-bound, a testament to his indomitable spirit.
He noted that Sayyed Nasrallah held Yemen and its people in high regard, admiring their faith, resilience, and steadfastness despite hardships. He said Sayyed Nasrallah considered Yemenis a model of courage and principle, paying a high price in defending Palestinian children, women, and fighters in Gaza.
Al-Moussawi emphasized Sayyed Nasrallah’s unwavering commitment to defeating the US-Zionist project in the region. He recalled Sayyed Nasrallah speaking of martyrdom with anticipation and joy, confident that victory and dignity were written on his path. Al-Moussawi concluded: “We must remain loyal to this great leader, follow his path, uphold his legacy, and continue the struggle until victory. Sayyed Nasrallah was not only a party leader; he was a leader of a nation, a living example of faith, whose legacy will endure in the hearts of the free forever.”
Khalil Nasrallah: Yemen a Pillar of Resistance Axis
Lebanese journalist and political commentator Khalil Nasrallah stressed that Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi’s message on the anniversary confirmed Yemen’s firm strategic stance in supporting Lebanon and Hezbollah.
He explained that Hezbollah’s weapons represent national defense and sovereignty in the face of Zionist occupation, rejecting propaganda that portrays them as undermining Lebanon’s independence. “True sovereignty means preventing the Zionist enemy and its American backers from imposing their will,” he said.
Khalil Nasrallah further emphasized that Hezbollah is not alone but part of a unified regional axis, with Yemen playing a central role in countering US-Israeli schemes. He noted that this unity alarms the enemy, which views Yemen as an emerging regional force capable of reshaping the balance of power.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in a massive Israeli airstrike on southern Beirut on September 27, 2024. The attack flattened six residential buildings in Dahiyeh, killing senior Hezbollah leaders including Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and marked one of the deadliest targeted assassinations in the region’s history.
His martyrdom has since become a rallying point across the resistance front, from Lebanon to Yemen and beyond. Movements and leaders continue to affirm that Sayyed Nasrallah’s legacy of sacrifice, leadership, and defiance against the Zionist entity remains a guiding force for the struggle until victory.
