News - Yemen: Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Republic’s unwavering stance in support of the Lebanese people and their steadfast resistance against the ongoing barbaric aggression by the Zionist entity.

In a statement marking the first anniversary of the assassination of the martyr of humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, along with his comrade Sayyed Hashem Safieddine and other Hezbollah members, the ministry emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah devoted his life to resisting the Israeli occupier and defending the just causes of the Ummah, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

The statement affirmed that the policy of assassinations pursued by the Zionist entity will only strengthen the resolve, resilience, and sacrifices of the resistance until the usurped rights are restored and the promised victory is achieved. Despite a year since his martyrdom, the ministry noted, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah remains alive in the conscience of the free people of the world and will remain immortal in the memory of generations.

The ministry further underlined that the Yemeni people will not forget Sayyed Nasrallah’s solidarity with Yemen from the first day of the US-Saudi aggression, and that his supportive stance toward the oppressed Yemeni nation will be remembered in history’s brightest pages. 

It stressed that Hezbollah today stands firm despite immense sacrifices, with battlefield realities proving its continued leadership and resilience, destined to emerge stronger than before. The ministry also urged the Lebanese people to uphold unity and reject division, describing national unity as the rock upon which all Zionist conspiracies will be shattered.

The Zionist entity has escalated its aggression against Lebanon over the past year, targeting Hezbollah leaders in a campaign of assassinations aimed at weakening the resistance.

However, Hezbollah’s endurance and regional alliances continue to frustrate Israeli enemy objectives, reinforcing its position as a central force in confronting occupation and defending the Palestinian cause.
