News - Yemen: Mohammed Al-Farh, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah, strongly condemned the “blatant aggression” carried out by Israeli enemy forces against multiple vessels belonging to the Gaza Strip-bound Global Sumud Flotilla.

Al-Farh reaffirmed the Yemeni people’s solidarity with all free voices and movements striving to rescue and support the oppressed in Gaza. He called on peoples across the world to demonstrate, express solidarity, and denounce the Zionist attack.

He further stressed that “the silence of the international community only emboldens the Israeli enemy to commit more crimes.”

The flotilla, made up of more than 50 vessels, set sail from Barcelona late last month in a mission to challenge what human rights groups describe as one of the harshest and most inhumane blockades in the world.

Billed as the largest maritime solidarity effort of its kind in decades, the flotilla brings together delegations representing at least 44 countries. But as the ships approached Gaza, Israeli naval forces intercepted multiple vessels as far as 90 nautical miles off the Palestinian coast.

According to the organizers, Israeli patrol boats surrounded the fleet and forcibly intercepted at least three vessels. Other ships, including Yulara and Meteque, were “targeted with water cannons.”

The aggression has sparked widespread protests across the world, particularly in major European cities such as Brussels, Berlin, and Rome.
