News - Yemen: In a massive display of solidarity, millions of Yemenis packed into Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sana'a on Friday for one of the largest pro-Palestinian rallies to date, vowing to continue their support for Gaza "until victory."

The rally, held under the slogan "In Rejection of the Zionist-American Conspiracy... Steadfast with Gaza Until Victory," saw participants from all ages and social segments reaffirm their complete solidarity with the Palestinian people against what they described as American and Israeli schemes targeting Palestinian land and identity.

The scene was formidable, with the square awash in Yemeni and Palestinian flags. Participants carried banners with direct messages condemning the "Zionist occupation," American support for Israel, and the so-called "Trump plan," which they labeled a "deception" serving only the interests of the "Zionist entity."

A statement issued in the name of the people at the rally's conclusion declared, "In response to the command of God... and seeking His pleasure, we continue our weekly exit in million-man marches in support of the oppressed Palestinian Muslim people." It emphasized that their "sincere faith-based stance for the sake of God only grows stronger and more solid as the conspiracies intensify."

The statement firmly linked the United States and Israel, asserting, "Our absolute conviction is that the American is the other face of the Zionist, and that Trump and Netanyahu do not differ from each other in crime and aggression." It called on the "peoples of our nation to leave the square of subservience and weakness," urging them to trust in "God's promises of victory, which are decisive promises without doubt."

Despite the enormous turnout, the event was notably organized and disciplined, reflecting a strong sense of national unity and resolve. The rally served as a powerful message that Yemen intends to maintain its staunch supportive stance towards the Palestinian cause as a core element of its political and ideological identity.

Yemen has been a staunch supporter of Palestine and has repeatedly launched drones and missiles towards the Israeli enemy in solidarity with Gaza. It organizes weekly mass rallies, condemning the genocidal war in Gaza. This latest gathering follows Israeli aggression on civilian infrastructure in Sana'a.

The Israeli enemy has so far killed at least 66,225 Palestinians, mostly women and children, since it launched the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
