News - Yemen: Hebrew media confirmed that a Yemeni drone penetrated the airspace of the occupied territories on Sunday evening, targeting the city of Umm al-Rashrash, known by the Zionist entity as Eilat.

According to the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the Yemeni operation triggered air-raid sirens four consecutive times, spreading panic among residents of the city.

The report added that the drone broke through the Israeli enemy’s air defense systems, including the “Iron Dome,” before striking a building in Umm al-Rashrash. Fragments of interceptor missiles reportedly fell across multiple areas of the city, causing damage to parts of the infrastructure.

In a related development, the occupation authorities announced the delay of a passenger flight’s landing at Ramon Airport, located near Umm al-Rashrash, as a precaution following warnings of a potential aerial threat. The airport, considered one of the key strategic facilities in the region, was placed under heightened security alert, and airspace was temporarily closed.

Earlier in the day, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the successful execution of a strategic military operation deep inside the occupied territories, targeting multiple sensitive sites in Al-Quds with a multi-warhead hypersonic ballistic missile known as Palestine-2.

The latest strike comes as part of a series of Yemeni military operations conducted in support of the Palestinian resistance under the Al-Aqsa Flood campaign.
