Yemeni President: Al‑Aqsa Flood  Historic Victory Against the Zionist Entity

News - Yemen: On the second anniversary of the Al‑Aqsa Flood battle, which restored the region’s focus on the Palestinian struggle and revived the spirit of resistance across the Arab and Islamic world, Yemeni President Mahdi al‑Mashat described the event as a historic declaration of Palestinian will and a reaffirmation of the right of peoples to resist Zionist occupation and aggression.

Al‑Mashat stated that the operations of 7 October were not merely a battlefield encounter but a legitimate response to decades of killing, displacement, and oppression of the Palestinian people. He emphasized that the operation “embodied the right to self-defense recognized by all divine laws and international conventions.”

He added that the date would remain etched in the memory of the nation, as Palestinians regained their dignity, exposed the myth of the invincible Zionist army, and revealed vulnerabilities in the enemy’s intelligence and military apparatus.

The president noted that the operation “thwarted projects aimed at Judaizing Al-Quds, undermined attempts to settle the Palestinian cause, hindered normalization efforts, and restored Palestine to the forefront of global conscience.”

Al‑Mashat stressed that confronting the Zionist entity is not a matter of choice but the only path to reclaim rights from an occupier that understands only the language of force. He praised the Palestinian resistance for two years of “legendary patience and steadfastness, heroic feats written in the pure blood of Palestinian sons defending land, dignity, and holy sites.”

He reiterated that Palestine remains the central cause of Arabs and Muslims, with roots deeply embedded in history and collective consciousness, affirming Yemen’s unwavering position in supporting the Palestinian people until the aggression ends, the siege is lifted, and all rights are fully restored.

Paying tribute to the resilience of the Palestinian people, al‑Mashat highlighted their daily miracles of steadfastness in the face of a brutal extermination apparatus and unprecedented siege, lauding the widespread support for the resistance during two years of struggle.

The president also condemned unlimited US support for the Zionist entity, describing it as “full participation in crimes of extermination against civilians.” He warned that the Zionist-American plan aims to erase Arab and Islamic identity and destabilize the region by fueling conflicts and expanding aggression to Lebanon and Syria.

Al‑Mashat called for Arab and Islamic unity in confronting the Zionist-American aggression, stressing that liberation can only be achieved through resistance, solidarity, and awareness of the danger posed by the Zionist project.

In closing, he praised the sacrifices of free and honorable forces standing with the Palestinian people, notably Hezbollah, Iraqi patriots, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting that their efforts were sanctified by the blood spilled in the fields of honor and heroism in support of Jerusalem and Palestine.

Al‑Aqsa Flood, launched on 7 October 2023, marked a historic escalation in the Palestinian struggle against the Zionist entity. The operations responded to decades of occupation, killings, home demolitions, and blockades, exposing weaknesses in Israeli military and intelligence structures.

Over the past two years, Yemeni support has bolstered Palestinian resistance, disrupted enemy plans, and reinforced Arab-Islamic solidarity. The anniversary of Al‑Aqsa Flood symbolizes resilience, unity, and the ongoing right of Palestinians to defend their land, dignity, and holy sites, highlighting the centrality of their cause to the Arab and Islamic world.
