According to the report, the US Navy has decided to postpone full repairs until the start of the Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) process, scheduled for next year. This decision means that the Truman will remain out of full operational service for an extended period.
The magazine added that the carrier returned from its recent Red Sea mission missing three fighter jets from its air wing — a detail that underscores the severity of the incident and its impact on the vessel’s capabilities.
