News - Yemen: Abdulrahman Al-Wali, member of parliament and academic, highlighted the escalating anger among residents of occupied Aden in a post on X (formerly Twitter). 

He criticized the so-called presidential council for convening in Riyadh alongside “the sponsor whose approval matters to them,” alluding to the council’s complete subservience to the aggression coalition.

Al-Wali emphasized that the council avoids meeting in Aden because the people's approval is of no concern, describing this as the height of bowing to foreign interests while locals suffer from hunger, poverty, and lack of basic services.

He concluded with a warning that the people will awaken at the right time, stating that patience has run out and “the eyes of the cowards who sell their people will not sleep,” signaling a potential surge in public unrest against the authorities of corruption and failure.

Aden, under the control of the Saudi-UAE occupation forces and the UAE-backed so-called Southern Transitional Council (STC), has seen growing public outrage due to worsening living conditions, lack of services, and delayed salaries.
