News - Yemen: Yasser Al-Houri, former Secretary-General of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, has declared that Yemen has forged a "will for transformation" and restored regional "deterrence balance," warning that any misstep by the Israeli enemy would carry a "costly price."

In an interview with Al-Masirah channel, Al-Houri stated that Yemen's achievements have "ended attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause and shaken the pillars of the Zionist project." He emphasized Yemen's readiness for "honorable positions" after any cessation of aggression against Gaza, mirroring its role during the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle.

The former official highlighted that Yemen's stance emerged "from the field, not just from media," originating from what he termed "divine leadership and a clear methodology that neither rests nor concedes before enemies." This position, he claimed, has reestablished deterrence balance in the region and created a strategic shift with lasting impact on regional issues.

The official warned against attempts to "disrupt political efforts" by Yemen, including completing the roadmap with the Saudi side or other negotiations, emphasizing the need for caution since "the enemy is known for treachery and might undertake any operations despite ceasefire agreements."

Al-Houri concluded by noting that October 31 represented a pivotal point and "a new blank page in Yemen's future strategy," calling for vigilance and firmness against any threats or attempts to target national security or interests, while reminding that "historical opportunities don't repeat."

Yemen has positioned itself as a key player in the regional conflict following its military operations in support of Gaza, including missile and drone attacks on the "Israeli" territory and shipping in the Red Sea.
