News - Middle East: The 34th Arab National Conference concluded in Beirut on November 9, with over 250 Arab leaders and officials in attendance, issuing a strong call for a unified Arab strategy to confront the threats posed by the Israeli enemy and Western powers to Arab national security. 

Delegates rejected any form of guardianship over Gaza or the Palestinian people and emphasized the need to prevent the return of war to the besieged Strip.

The final statement praised Yemen’s role in supporting Gaza and confronting the Israeli enemy and the United States inside Palestine and in the Red Sea.

According to the statement, Yemen restored the Red Sea’s Arab identity, asserting that ships now navigate it under Arab authorization issued from Sana'a. 

Yemen was credited with “writing a new chapter” in confronting the Zionist entity and the US, redefining the concept of Arab state power in defending national causes and addressing regional and international challenges.

The 34th Arab National Conference convened amid escalating Israeli enemy offensives in Gaza, repeated breaches of ceasefires, and growing Western attempts to control Palestinian affairs.
