News - Middle East: Palestinian journalist and political analyst Asri Fayyad affirmed that the ongoing events in Gaza are part of an integrated Zionist strategy aimed at keeping the Palestinian resistance under continuous pressure and exploiting any ceasefire as an opportunity to restructure the balance of power in favor of the occupation.

Speaking to Al-Masirah TV, Fayyad said that the Israeli enemy’s crimes have led to rivers of Palestinian blood, prompting resistance movements—after thorough consultations—to engage politically and appeal to the conscience of the Arab and Islamic nations. He explained that the current stage marks the first phase of the ceasefire, which is nearing its end, noting that several bodies of martyrs have yet to be returned, while others that were delivered had been held for over a decade.

Fayyad pointed out that US positions remain fully aligned with Israeli violations, highlighting major inconsistencies in official statements regarding humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza. “While Hamas sources report around 150 aid trucks entering daily, US claims exaggerate that number to 500–600, which is not a statistical error but a deliberate distortion serving political objectives,” he said.

He added that areas where the bodies of Israeli captives are retrieved are themselves being bombed, as Zionist forces exploit humanitarian operations to justify renewed aggression under the guise of “humanitarian coordination,” using organizations like the Red Cross to gather intelligence and restrict the movements of the resistance—all amid Arab and Islamic silence.

Fayyad stressed that Washington’s regional strategy aligns perfectly with this agenda, noting that the conflict in Gaza has not been resolved but rather “managed” through temporary arrangements that only aim to reduce Israeli losses while maintaining the genocidal campaign.

He also noted that American movements extend beyond Gaza, targeting Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, where the recently exposed espionage network represents “a direct attack against the forces of the Republic and the resistance confronting the joint Israeli–American project.”

Fayyad concluded that a broader confrontation with the Zionist enemy is inevitable, warning that “the battle is coming, and the region must prepare decisively and comprehensively to face it.”

The statement comes amid escalating regional tensions following Yemen’s exposure of a US–Israeli–Saudi spy network and growing American involvement in efforts to contain resistance fronts in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. Observers view these coordinated movements as part of Washington’s attempt to shield the Zionist enemy from the expanding circle of resistance operations and to diffuse mounting pressure on the entity across multiple fronts.
