News - Yemen: Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates praised the Ministry of Interior and security agencies for their major achievement in dismantling a spy network linked to a joint operations room involving the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Israeli Mossad, and Saudi intelligence services, which was reportedly directed from Saudi territory.

In a statement issued Monday, the Foreign Ministry described these espionage and hostile activities as a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as a clear breach of international laws and norms that prohibit interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.

The Ministry noted that such intelligence operations are a continuation of the comprehensive aggression imposed on Yemen since March 26, 2015, and represent an attempt to pressure Yemen for its steadfast support of the Palestinian cause — the central issue of the Arab and Islamic nation.

The statement urged the Saudi regime to reassess its hostile stance and engage positively with peace efforts aimed at ending the prolonged aggression and blockade, rather than persisting in schemes that endanger regional security and stability.

According to the Ministry, evidence and confessions from the captured spy cell confirmed that its members had been fully trained, financed, and managed by the Saudi regime — an indication, it said, of Riyadh’s lack of seriousness in pursuing peace and its continued involvement in destabilizing activities targeting Yemen and its people.

The statement further pointed out that it was Saudi Arabia that declared and led the aggression against Yemen and subsequently promoted an illegitimate entity as a representative of the Yemen in international forums.

The Ministry reaffirmed that the Yemeni people are fully aware of those responsible for their suffering and will not remain silent in the face of such violations, vowing to continue defending their sovereignty and national dignity by all legitimate means.

Finally, the Foreign Ministry called on the international community to condemn the grave violations of Yemen’s sovereignty and to support ongoing efforts to achieve lasting peace, security, and an end to the aggression and blockade imposed on the country.

Earlier this month, the Interior Ministry announced the dismantling of an extensive espionage network linked to the US, Zionist, and Saudi intelligence apparatuses. The network was accused of conducting surveillance, recruiting informants, and transmitting sensitive data in service of hostile agendas targeting Yemen’s stability and sovereignty.

Operation Their Plot Will Fail marked one of Yemen’s most significant counterintelligence achievements in recent years, exposing a deeply embedded spy network that reportedly operated under direct coordination between the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Israeli military intelligence Mossad, and Saudi intelligence.

Security investigations revealed that the network was structured to collect strategic information on Yemen’s defense, communications, and energy sectors, as well as to influence internal affairs through media and recruitment channels. Officials described the operation as part of a long-term foreign campaign seeking to weaken Yemen from within and serve the geopolitical interests of the US-Zionist-Saudi alliance in the region.
