News - Yemen: Yemeni military and security expert Abdu Fazea Al-Sayyadi affirmed that the recent uncovering and dismantling of espionage networks linked to American, Zionist, and Saudi intelligence agencies represents an exceptional security and intelligence achievement, demonstrating the alertness and professionalism of Yemen’s security apparatus amid extremely complex conditions.

In an interview with Al-Masirah TV, Al-Sayyadi stated that the scale and precision of the operation reveal the depth of Yemen’s intelligence capabilities. “This was one of the most dangerous and advanced espionage attempts against Yemen, yet it ended in complete failure,” he said, emphasizing that the swift and coordinated exposure of multiple cells proves that the security system in Sana’a operates with full integration, professionalism, and foresight in countering enemy plots.

Al-Sayyadi added that the success of the operation reflects the core mission of Yemen’s security institutions — protecting both the homeland and its citizens, and preserving sovereignty against any form of infiltration or espionage. He noted that Yemeni security agencies not only thwarted the plot but also reinforced public confidence in their vigilance and national commitment, despite the continued aggression and blockade imposed on the country for years.

The expert explained that the harsh conditions of war and siege often provide opportunities for the enemy to exploit and recruit vulnerable individuals, especially those facing economic hardship. However, he stressed that the awareness and unity of Yemeni society with its security institutions today serve as a critical line of defense against infiltration attempts.

He emphasized that national cohesion and loyalty remain stronger than any external manipulation, noting that the latest revelations have strengthened public resilience and trust in the national intelligence system.

The Yemeni Interior Ministry recently announced the dismantling of a large espionage network operating under the joint supervision of US, Zionist, and Saudi intelligence services. The network was involved in collecting sensitive military and economic data, and mapping critical infrastructure for targeting purposes. 

The ministry described the operation as one of the most significant intelligence victories in Yemen’s modern history, highlighting the failure of foreign intelligence to penetrate Yemen’s defenses despite years of covert operations.
