News – Yemen: Senior Yemeni diplomat Abdullah Sabri, an ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, warned that the recent joint military maneuvers in the region signal a dangerous alignment between the American-Zionist vision for the Red Sea’s security and the broader Arab approach led by Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Al-Masirah, Sabri emphasized that this growing convergence extends far beyond the latest military exercises. Over the past two years, he said, it has been reflected in Riyadh’s positions regarding the genocidal war on Gaza, the freezing of the peace process in Yemen, and its financial and political support for US operations under the guise of “regional security.”

Sabri criticized Saudi Arabia’s pursuit of a new security agreement with the United States, describing it as a misguided attempt by the Saudi regime to shield itself from potential threats — whether from Yemen or even from the Zionist enemy itself. He noted that the Zionist entity’s expansionist project, the so-called “Greater Israel” plan openly promoted by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, does not exclude even Saudi territory.

The diplomat warned that Riyadh’s increasing reliance on Washington and normalization with the Zionist entity could lead to renewed aggression against Yemen. “Any new round of attacks would be an insult to peace,” Sabri stressed, adding that Yemen today is far stronger than it was before the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and possesses multiple levers of power — both at the negotiation table and on the battlefield.

Sabri urged Saudi Arabia to end its aggression and respond seriously to the legitimate demands of the Yemeni people concerning the implementation of the peace agreement, calling for sincerity and an end to delay and deception.

He concluded by warning that “the real danger surrounding the Arab nation is the joint Israeli-American threat,” and urged Arab states and peoples to overcome internal divisions and unite their stance against this common menace.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions following reports of increased military coordination between Washington, Riyadh, and the Zionist entity in the Red Sea. Yemen has repeatedly condemned these maneuvers as hostile provocations aimed at undermining peace efforts and reinforcing Zionist influence in Arab waters, while reaffirming its readiness to defend its sovereignty and regional security balance.
