Experts: Saudi Regime Functioning as a Tool for US–Zionist Agenda Targeting Yemen and the Islamic Nation

News – Yemen: Despite declared periods of de-escalation in the eight-year US-Saudi war on Yemen, the Saudi enemy continues to pursue espionage and sabotage operations in coordination with the Zionist entity, in what Yemeni experts describe as a sustained campaign against Yemen and the wider Islamic nation.

Recent investigations by Yemen’s Ministry of Interior revealed Saudi espionage cells operating on behalf of Washington and the Zionist entity — a development that underscores the deep strategic partnership between Riyadh and the architects of aggression against Yemen.

Mohammed Taher Anam, advisor to the Supreme Political Council, said the exposure of these spy networks unmasks the true nature of the Saudi regime as a “functional system” created to serve colonial interests — from British influence in the early 20th century to full American control after World War II.

Speaking to Al-Masirah, Anam stressed that Riyadh remains trapped in its historical subservience, seeking to appease Washington and the Zionist enemy at the expense of its own people and the Arab-Islamic causes. He added that Saudi wealth continues to be used to finance hostile plots against Yemen and other nations in the region.

Anam noted that Riyadh’s attempts in recent years to polish its image — through outreach to China, Russia, and even the administration of US President Trump — failed to alter its core anti-Yemen policies, which include covert operations, assassinations, sabotage, and early normalization with the Zionist entity.

He emphasized that Yemen’s conflict with the Saudi enemy is “existential, not territorial,” noting that every war waged by Riyadh since the establishment of the Yemeni republic has aimed to prevent an independent Yemeni state, obstruct development, and undermine national decision-making. He said Saudi Arabia consistently backs agents and spies, facilitating Zionist-American targeting of Yemeni civilian and military leaders.

In a related analysis, security expert Brigadier Abed Al-Sharqi said the dismantling of Saudi spy cells exposes a high level of coordination between Riyadh, Washington, and the Zionist entity. These networks, he explained, used advanced surveillance equipment and operated in isolated clusters to avoid detection — yet all were thwarted by Yemeni security forces over several years.

Al-Sharqi stressed that the Saudi enemy remains incapable of making independent decisions regarding Yemen, as every move is tied to American and Zionist directives. He pointed to ongoing border attacks, economic interference, and repeated attempts to control land and maritime routes serving the interests of the Zionist entity — all without achieving any strategic goals.

He added that the Saudi regime operates as a “functional tool” for Western powers and the Zionist entity, executing destabilizing projects aimed at preventing Yemeni independence, destroying its military and economic capabilities, and fueling conflicts across the Arab and Islamic world to serve a joint US–Zionist agenda of domination and resource exploitation.

A report by the Ministry of Interior further detailed Riyadh’s motives, stating that Saudi espionage and cooperation with the Zionist entity aim to: weaken Yemen’s defensive capabilities, support US–Zionist aggression across Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, attempt control over strategic waterways, break Yemen’s maritime blockade on the Zionist entity, and obstruct any independent Yemeni project that strengthens military or economic sovereignty.

The revelations send a clear message to the Yemeni public that the Saudi enemy continues its conspiracies despite talk of de-escalation. They also serve as a warning to the people of Hijaz, Asir, Ahsa, and Najd that their wealth is being used to finance aggressive plots against Yemen and other Arab and Muslim nations.

For Yemen, the message to the region is unequivocal: the conflict with the Saudi enemy is not merely a border dispute or political disagreement, but a struggle for existence against a regime relying on American and Zionist backing to prolong its aggression.

The exposure of Saudi spy cells follows a series of high-profile security operations in Yemen targeting foreign intelligence networks. These developments highlight the continuing collapse of Saudi strategy in Yemen and the strengthening of Yemen’s security and counter-espionage capabilities in the post–Al-Aqsa Flood regional landscape.
