News - Yemen: Mohammed Al-Farah, member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, warned on Saturday of the entrenched double standards within the UN Security Council’s handling of regional crises, particularly the war on Gaza and Yemen.

In statements, Al-Farah said the Security Council “continues to present the worst example of double standards after spending years turning a blind eye to the genocide in Gaza while siding with the enemy.”

He added that the Council has effectively “become a platform for dividing Western interests, where human rights are defined as Western human rights, and international interests are reduced to Washington’s interests alone.” He praised Russia and China for abstaining from voting on the latest resolution to renew sanctions on Yemen.

Al-Farah further noted that the West and the US support the Israeli enemy with weapons and money, while imposing sanctions on Yemen in service of Zionist objectives.” He reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast support for Gaza and its continued resistance to “American and Western hegemony over the peoples and nations of our region.”

He concluded by emphasizing that "Yemen will respond in kind to anyone who attacks the interests of our Yemeni people or seeks to harm its sovereignty and national decision-making."

The persistence of such collusion deepens the loss of credibility of international institutions as neutral mediators. It underscores that the Zionist entity continues to operate under an American umbrella, breaching agreements and committing massacres with impunity.
