News - Yemen: Yemen’s Interior Ministry has released detailed confessions of spies linked to the joint intelligence operations room of the enemy, arrested in the recent Their Plot Will Fail operation.

Among them, 46-year-old spy Dhaifallah Saleh recounted his recruitment and activities with Saudi and US intelligence, describing how he became an instrument of the Israeli enemy against his own country.

Saleh said his involvement began in 2019 when he contacted the mercenary Ali Qali, director of the so-called Sa'adah Radio affiliated with the aggression coalition. 

After showing interest in the radio’s work, Saleh was employed by Qali in early 2024 and later traveled to Saudi Arabia, where he was trained by Saudi intelligence officers and a US officer identified as David.

His training included photography, network extraction, report writing, and handling specialized equipment such as miniature cameras disguised as car remotes and mobile phones with espionage applications.

After returning to Yemen, Saleh received coordinates from Saudi officers, which he photographed and reported in detail. He was instructed to document sites targeted by US airstrikes and to record civilian, military, and strategic locations, including streets, hospitals, prisons, and missile launch points aimed at occupied Palestine.

His main hostile activities included:

Surveillance, photography, and network extraction of residential neighborhoods, civilian institutions, and military sites for the enemy’s joint intelligence room.

Monitoring missile launch sites targeting the Zionist entity.

Reporting results of airstrikes conducted by enemy forces.

Recording public streets, the Rasool Al-Azam Hospital in Sa'adah, and locations of foreign nationals, including a shelter for Africans later struck by US airstrikes.

Saleh continued these operations until his arrest on July 3, 2025, after evidence confirmed his active role in spying, collecting intelligence, and reporting to the enemy’s joint intelligence room. The Interior Ministry’s ongoing disclosures reveal the sophisticated methods used by the Saudi-backed spy network to support hostile operations against Yemen.

The confessions highlight, according to authorities, the depth of Saudi involvement in hostile intelligence operations against Yemen and its alignment with the American-Israeli agenda. They also underline the vigilance and effectiveness of Yemeni security services in dismantling espionage networks and thwarting their plans despite the adversary’s advanced resources and methods.

The detailed confessions, which include specific dates, locations, and methods, are presented by Yemeni authorities as evidence of a coordinated foreign intelligence effort to monitor and undermine Yemen's military capabilities and economic infrastructure. The reports highlight the ongoing intelligence and proxy warfare layered atop the wider regional conflict.

The announcement comes amid the ongoing regional tensions and the military support of Yemeni forces in solidarity with Gaza. Yemeni authorities have repeatedly affirmed the involvement of the US-Saudi coalition of aggression of conducting intelligence operations and targeting its infrastructure.
