News – Yemen: Algerian intellectual and Arab National Congress member Ammar Talbi praised the speech of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi during the 34th session of the Arab National Congress, describing Yemen as “the steadfast pillar of the Ummah and the only side that supported Gaza with decisive action against the Zionist enemy.”

In remarks to Al-Masirah, Talbi said the Al-Aqsa Flood marked a historic turning point for the Ummah and underscored the need for a unified Arab-Islamic stance. He highlighted three Quranic principles essential for rebuilding collective strength: Tawhid, the unity of the Ummah, and defending this unity through reviving the values of jihad to protect identity, sovereignty, and independence.

Talbi emphasized that cooperation among Arab and Islamic forces is vital to confronting the enemies of the Ummah, noting that Yemen’s position embodies a model of committed resistance and shared responsibility.

The 34th Arab National Congress convened amid escalating regional tensions driven by the Gaza war and the widening confrontation with the Israeli enemy. Yemen’s sustained support for Gaza over the past two years has strengthened its standing across Arab political and intellectual circles, reinforcing calls to restore Arab-Islamic unity and intensify collective resistance to Western and Zionist domination.
