Experts: British Moves in Aden Serve Israeli Enemy; Yemeni Forces Ready to Counter Any Aggression

News - Yemen: Military, political, and economic experts have raised concerns over the recent visit of a British delegation to Aden, questioning its timing and intentions.

Analysts say the visit aims to strengthen so-called “coast guard” forces of the loyalist government under the pretext of securing Red Sea navigation, while ultimately serving the interests of the Israeli enemy.

Experts recall that in 2023, Britain and the United States led an aggressive campaign against Yemen, attempting to lift pressure on the Israeli enemy, which ultimately failed. According to Abdulmalik Issa, a political sociology professor at Sana’a University, the British visit comes at a time when American-British efforts to undermine Yemeni Armed Forces have failed, as Yemeni forces have imposed new realities in the Red Sea and reasserted Yemen’s regional influence.

The visit, analysts say, also aims to reassure the Israeli enemy that the Red Sea remains under Western influence, despite the growing military and strategic control of Yemeni Forces. Experts interpret London’s actions as a response to geopolitical changes in Yemen, reflecting Western concern over the decline of their influence in the region.

Military Preparations and Coordination

Researcher Zain Al-Abidin Othman noted that the visit is part of a broader plan coordinated with the Israeli enemy, the US, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, preparing loyalist forces militarily and logistically for potential new aggression.

British financial and logistical support, he said, appears intended to militarize the Red Sea, activate loyalist forces, and reestablish control over strategic islands and coasts, such as Socotra and Mayun, reinforcing Western influence and attempting to compensate for past naval setbacks.

Yemeni Forces, however, remain vigilant, continuously developing strategic deterrence and maintaining full readiness to counter any hostile moves. Analysts emphasize that upcoming confrontations will differ from previous engagements, with Yemen fully capable of open, unbounded military responses.

Political and Economic Dimensions

Officials note that Britain’s involvement is not limited to military support. Economic expert Rashid Al-Haddad highlighted London’s central role in enforcing the ongoing economic siege on Yemen, coordinating sanctions, and restricting imports to weaken Yemeni resilience.

Analysts warn that these hostile measures will be met with decisive Yemeni responses, as the country controls key Red Sea supply routes, which could have direct economic consequences for Britain.

Experts agree that British efforts in Aden primarily aim to secure Western strategic interests, protect Israeli enemy navigation, and reassert influence in southern Yemen, rather than supporting local governance or Yemenis’ sovereignty.

Any agreements signed by the pro-aggression government in Aden do not represent the Yemeni people, who remain committed to defending their territory and supporting Gaza against the Israeli enemy.

The British delegation’s visit to Aden reflects Western efforts, alongside the Israeli enemy and the US, to control Yemen’s strategic Red Sea and Gulf of Aden routes.

Analysts say it aims to strengthen mercenary forces, protect maritime and Western interests, and counter the growing influence of Yemen’s Armed Forces, who have reshaped regional dynamics.

The visit also underscores Britain’s ongoing role in economic and military pressure against Yemen, seeking to limit its sovereignty while maintaining Western dominance in the region.
